How to reset your Active Directory password
You forgOt your password or YOUR ACCOUNT IS locked
NOTE: You must register and setup at least one Security Authentication method prior to using this service. Pleaserefer to page 5 for more details.
Follow the steps below to reset your Pernod Ricard account password
- To start, visit and select the option “PASSWORD LOCKED / FORGOTTEN”
- In the "Who are you?" page, enter your Pernod Ricard email address and prove you aren't a robot by typing the characters within the grey box.
- Click the "Next" button.
- Choose the option the best describes your issue
- “I forgot my password” to reset your password (a new password will be generated)
- “I know my password, but still can’t sign in” to unlock your account (you will keep the same password)
- Select an option to verify your identity
- Email my alternate email- sends an email with a 6-digit code to alternate emailsetup during enrollment
- Text my mobile phone–sends a text message to your mobile phone with a 6-digit code
- Call my mobile phone- calls yourmobile phone, and press the#key to verify the call
- Answer my security questions- displays your pre-registered security questions for you to answer
- As an example, selecting the "text my mobile phone" option. If you are using a phone based option, you'll need to verify your phone number before we'll send a text. Enter your full phone number and then clickNextto verify it's correct and send a text.
- When you receive the text, make sure you use the verification code in the message body, not the number the code was sent from. It might take a few minutes to get the text!
- Now, enter the code you just received on your phone into the input box on the page.
- Note: the code in the screenshot is an example.
- If you select to Reset your password, type a new password and confirm your choice, then clickFinish.
- Once you see the success page, you are good to go! You can now sign in with your new password.
- If you select to Unlock your account, you will see the following confirmation screen
- You will receive this email confirming the password change
Enroll into Self-service Password Service
Prior to being able to use the password reset tool,you must first enroll into the Self-Service Portal.
The fastest way to register for password reset is to go to
Select the “REGISTER” option
- Enter your email address and password
- Choose an option to register for by clickingset it up now.
To reset your password, you will be allowed to use the following methods:
Mobile Phone - This information can be store in Active Directory and directly sync into the Self-Service Password Portal
Alternate Email Address – use a personal email address
Security Questions - 3 secret questions must be set
- As an example, we select Authentication phone.
- Select your country code from the dropdown and enter yourfull phone number including area code
- Select either thetext meorcall meoption. In this case, we selecttext me, which will send a 6-digit code to your phone. Wait for the code to arrive on your phone.
- Once the code arrives, enter it into the input box, and then click "Verify".
- Once complete, the following screen will appear, you may select “Finish”
Congratulations, you are now enrolled into Self-Service.
