Sharing your blog
Video:http://www.pebblepad.co.uk/pp3help/Video/shareAsset/share_asset.htm
One of the great aspects of PebblePad is that you can share assets. You can share and collaborate with tutors or colleagues with a Pebble+ account, they can also add comments to your asset. You can share an asset anyone you wish, they do not need to have a Pebble account (e.g. potential employers). PebblePad works on live links so when you share with another you are giving them permission to see the asset as it exists in your asset store. As you make further changes to the asset, the person you have shared with will see these changes. You have full control over what the other person can do with you asset and how long they have access to it for. You can change or remove any of these permissions at any time.
To share an asset:
•select the item in your asset store.
•click 'share' from the buttons along the bottom.
•add the names in the 'To:' field:
-If they are in your contacts the system will auto-suggest them.
-if they are not in your contacts but do have a UWE Pebble+ account click 'search for contact' then 'modify search'.
-If they are someone external to UWE click 'create new external' and complete the details.
•Set the permissions you wish to give them.
•You can set a time-frame for sharing if you wish
•You can add a message to the recipients
•Click 'share'
•The recipient will receive an email containing your message and a link to the asset. If they have a Pebble+ account they will also see the asset in their asset store under the 'For Me' or 'With Me' tab.
•You can change the settings or remove a share via the 'i' icon on the righthand side of the open asset.
Submitting your work
Submitting your work
How to submit work to ATLAS
PebblePad handles the submission of work in a very different way to what you will be familiar with from other systems.Submitting your work is not a final act. When you submit an asset the system creates alive linkto the asset in your asset store so any changes you save are immediately visible in the submission up until the deadline.
This enables the process of submission to be separated from the deadline. You can submit your asset as soon as you create it and continue to work on it until the deadline without needing to worry about submission at a later date. This helps to avoid any technical risks near the deadline and gives you piece of mind. You may be required to submit by an earlier deadline by your tutor or some resources are set to auto-submit on first use, saving you the hassle entirely.
Checking your submission
If you wish to check how your submission looks in ATLAS (and therefore what your tutor can see) please follow the steps below:
