Webmail Features
Folders
You can access different folders in the top left corner of webmail.
Inbox - Will access the emails you have received. You can click on emails in the right side to view them.
Sent - This folder will show all the emails that you have responded too.
Drafts – Emails that you have typed up but did not finish. It puts in the drafts folder for you to be able to access if you want to continue later with the email.
Trash – Emails that you have deleted will end up in the trash. If you delete it out of trash they will permanently deleted.
Spam – Emails that seem to “non-important” or sale ads usually will end up in the spam folder.
*You can add folders of you own by clicking on the “Folders” button on the right side of “Compose”.
Calendar
Below the folders is a Calendar. You can see the Day, Month and Year. You can assignments for exact time and date.
If you click on a date in the calendar and list of times will display where the emails usually do. In there you can add assignments, notes and events next to a time for that date.
Addresses
Addresses is located under the calendar tab. When adding a address(contact) you can include information such as Nickname, E-mail address, First Name, Last Name and Additional Info. Once a contact is added under addresses it will show in a list below “Addresses”. This will make a fast approach for reaching friends, family and co-workers.
Notes
Notes is below the “addresses” tab on the left side of the site. In this area you can make a note for information you may need later on. Think of it as a digital sticky note. If you click on the tab “Notes” the option to type in information and save it will appear where the emails usually do.
Composing a E-mail
If you would like to send a email to someone you can click on . Options will display below to add a email address in the TO: box, Add Cc: will send a copy to a email address in the box, Add Bcc: will send a copy to a email address in the box but no one will see that you sent it to them. Subject will show the general information about the email in someones inbox when sending a email. The big white area is where you can type up a email to send. You can also send a attachment by clicking on “Choose File”.
Search
You can through a folder of your choice for a keyword to navigate to a email quicker. Type in a key word that a e-mail would have in. You can also search for a email address in this search engine as well. It will populate all the emails with the keyword or email address you have in the inbox.
