I confirm that on the date of the Sleep Out I will be aged 18 or over.
I confirm that on the date of the Sleep Out I will be 13 years of age or over and accompanied by a parent and or legal guardian.
I agree not consume Alcohol or illegal drugs during the Sleep Out.
I understand that throughout the event I will be responsible for my own belongings; no secure storage will be available and York Road Project cannot accept liability for any loss or damage to personal effects.

York Road Project Sleep Out Terms & Conditions
These terms & conditions apply for York Road Project’s Sleep Out
1)Those wishing to take part in this event must read these terms andconditions first. If you are coordinating other people to attend you must make sure they all read these Terms & Conditions.
2) At the start of the event you will be asked to sign next to your name on the disclaimer form. By signing this disclaimer form you are agreeing that you understand the nature of the event and to take part in accordance with these terms and conditions. If you do not sign this form you will not be able to take part in the event.
3) All individuals taking part in the York Road Project Sleep Outevent are responsible for ensuring they are medically and physically able to participate in this activity.
4) Participants take part at their own risk and the organisers cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal effects, for personal accidents or for injury or loss to third parties, other than as a result of York Road Project’s negligence.
5) The minimum age for participation in this event is 13 years old with a parent or guardian attending with you or 18 years old unaccompanied.
6) This is an alcohol and drug free event. If you are seen with alcohol we will ask you to hand it in. If you are seen using illegal drugs we will inform the police. In both cases you may be asked to leave the event. The organisers reserve the right to ask anyone to leave the event.
7) The deliberate disruption to other people’s dwellings, use of obscene language or unruly behaviour will not be tolerated. Singing or loud talking must stop by Midnight. If this behaviour is seen, the organisers reserve the right to ask you to leave the Sleep Out site regardless of the time.

I confirm that I wish to enter The York Road Project Sleep Out and agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the event. I agreeI will seek medical advice from a general practitioner if I am in any doubt as to my physical ability to complete the event. I also confirm that any photographs taken during the event may be used to publicise this event and the work of the York Road Project.

Event details
All participants must pre-register using our registration form and returning it
The event starts at 8pm and we ask you to come to the Sleep out stand and sign in on arrival.
Participants are expected to respect others sleepingout and the residents of the area.
You are asked not to bring alcohol and anything else that may disturb the peace of others.
Naked flames are not permitted.
For the sake of the other sleepers, please switch offall radios, iPods, MP3 players and other devices by12.00 am.
We ask all participants to bring with them small snacks similar to what a homeless person may have, i.e. crisps, sandwiches.
Toilet facilities will be available throughout the night and first aiders will be presentat all times.
Parking can be accessed at Victoria Way multi-storey car park – Charges will apply
You will need:
-Sleeping bag and cardboard to use as a ground mat
-Suitable clothing to survive a night on the streets
(We would advise a warm coat, layers of clothing, thick socks, Gloves and a hat).
-Water (some will be available on site)
-Food (we want this to be as realistic experience as possible, think small, portable and cold, there are no microwaves on the streets)
-Medication – please bring all medication that you may need during the night
-An Open mind – we will be having some of our clients and ex-clients joining us for a portion of the event and they will be speaking about their experiences sleeping on the streets, please join in, ask questions and really get a feel for why we are trying to raise awareness.

Site opens at 8pm
Registration between 8-8:45pm
9pm -10:30pm – Life on the Streets – Experiences and discussion
10:45pm-11:15pm – Camp set up
12pm-6am – this is the hard part (try and sleep) All music to end
6.30 - 7.30 am – Pack down camp cardboard boxes, plastic sheets, etc. must be taken awayin the morning by 7:30am.
