Columbus Conference Thirty-One Gifts
In the creation of Thirty-One thirteen years ago, Founder & CEO Cindy Monroe's vision was to bring a boutique-style shopping experience to the homes of busy moms and women of every age.
Our Company Mission - Thirty-One is more than just a company. We are people who believe in celebrating, encouraging and rewarding others for who they are. Through God's strength, we've built a family of individuals who feel women deserve to treat themselves to something special. Our commitment is to provide women with a fulfilling, enjoyable and rewarding experience.
The way we sell our products sets us apart from traditional retail settings. Our independent Consultants sell Thirty-One products through in-home parties, person-to-person sales and using social media. This business model categorizes us as a direct sellingcompany.
We have a large Consultant population in all 50 states and in all but 1 Province in Canada. Attendance to our Conference is open to all Consultants, however, attendance is not required. Our Consultants pay for all travel, hotel and Conference costs on their own so they attend because they WANT to not because they are required to.
This year we have two US conferences, one in Salt Lake City, July 9-11 and in Columbus, July 16-18.
What is #31Share?
We are a Company that believes in giving back to the community. This year we have selected the local Ronald McDonald House to receive not only our volunteer time but also a donation. We will be visiting, volunteering and providing them with a check on Friday, July 15.
What can you do?
Columbus has become our home and our Consultants feel welcome, appreciated and safe in the city – so thank you! We would appreciate anything and everything the Hospitality Community can do to make our Consultants continue to feel special and celebrated! Some ideas that you can do are:
· Be creative, have fun and build a sense of community!
o Pink lobby decorations, Welcome pink drinks, Pink flowers in lobby, Front of House staff in some sort of pink shirt, corsage, lapel flower, involvement in #31Share or simple acts of kindness, etc!
What will we do?
An Ice Cream Party will be sponsored by ExperienceColumbus for the hotel that best shows their spirit in welcoming and celebrating our Thirty-One Consultants as well as shows a sense of Community and Inspiration!
Thirty-One Gifts will also provide Thirty-One products to the winning hotel to share with your staff.
How we are going to do it!
Submit up to 5 pictures of the experience your team provided for our Thirty-One Consultants over Conference to by July 22. A winner will be chosen by August 5!
Info to Know:
1. Our attendees will have lots of BAGS!
2. 98% of our attendees are women.
3. Approximately 60% are first time attendees, a few are novice travelers.
4. There will be 3-4 (if not more) to a room.
5. Our attendees may want to split charges evenly so it would not hurt to ask upon check-in.
6. If they present a debit card, please advise them how much you will authorize before swiping.
7. We have negotiated discounted parking rates with those of you that have parking. Please make sure that the guests receive the correct parking rate and they understand it has been discounted especially for Thirty-One.
8. They will heavily patronize your outlets on arrival days and in the evenings.
9. About half of our attendees drive with 25% carpooling.
10. Our attendees are cost conscious fun women who love their coffee and quick grab-n-go style foods and snacks.
11. We will provide transportation from most hotels to the Convention Center and/or Arena. A sign and transportation schedules will be dropped off at each of your hotels on or before Friday, July 15.
