OCTOBER NEWSLETTER
IMPORTANT DATES:
~October 5th-9th - Forgot to bring a friend to class last week? No worries, we’d love to meet them this week! Bring a friend or 2 (or 3!) to dance and show them what an amazing studio we have! Visit the front desk for treat bags for all friends.
~Thursday, October 8th.YOGA & WINE.7-9pm. An hour of yoga with the amazing Holly Weber and an hour of wine, snacks and socializing. $20/participant. This is a 21+ event.
YOGA & WINEis generously sponsored by Haskell’s Wine & Spirits.
~October 14th-16th- Child care for school-aged kids. 8a-5p. Games, movies, crafts and music! $30/child. Lunch is included.
~October 26th-30th- Halloween Week! Halloween themed dances, treats and FUN all week long. Wear your costume!

-favorite movie? I don't really have a favorite movie, my favorite tv shows are definitely So You Think You Can Dance and Flea Market Flip-favorite restaurant? Tavern on France
-favorite style of dance? That's a tough one! I'd say it's a toss up between lyrical and hiphop.
-favorite artist (singer or band)? Zac Brown Band
-favorite color? Red
-favorite performance memory? Dance has given me so many amazing memories since I took my first dance class 24 years ago. I would say my favorite performance memory was when I stepped on to the stage at Eagan High School 4 years ago at the Rhythm and Shoes Recital. Although I continued to teach and coach dance after college, I hadn't performed since I was 20. We performed a lyrical routine and after the lights dropped and our dance was done tears filled my eyes. It felt so good to be performing again and all the memories and emotions came back to me in that moment. I will never forget that moment!
-If you could meet one person, who would it be? I would love to meet Travis Wall and have him teach me everything he knows!
-What are you looking forward to the most this year? I'm most looking forward to getting to know all of my dancers and having a fun season together!
