*On 2010 Dec 6.993 Akatsuki was supposed to fire its main thrusters to get captured by Venus gravity. Orbit analyses learned that the spacecraft was

not in an orbit around Venus. The main engine cut off less than 3 minutes in a 12 minutes burn. It will return near Venus in about 65 years.

On 2015 Dec 6.994 four secondary attitude control rockets were fired for about 20 min and Akatsuki entered a highly eccentric orbit around Venus.

Toutatis. The fly-by was successful on 2012 Dec 13.688 at a distance of 3.2 km and photos were taken. As of 2015 Chang’e 2 is in deep space at 100 million

Km from Earth.
