Year 9 Graduation

We have great pleasure in inviting you to the Year 9 Graduation evening on Tuesday 12th July. The purpose of this event is to celebrate the success of our Year 9 students in completing Key Stage 3. It also marks the entry of Year 9 into Key Stage 4. The evening will start with a reception from 6.00pmand culminate in a formal Award Ceremony at 6.30pm, which will last approximately 2 hours.
During the formal Award Ceremony we will announce the level of award each student has achieved. This will either be Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze. The colour of the award will depend upon a student’s performance in a number of areas; academic attainment, effort, participation in after school clubs, community activities and attendance.
Pupils that achieve a Platinum award will have this presented on the evening. There will also be a trip for the Platinum award winners later this month and information for this trip will be available on the night.
There are limited places available for the evening. These will be allocated on a first come first served basis, from Reception. Please return the form below to indicate how many places you would like to reserve for the evening. Due to limited numbers, this should be no more than three, including your child. Your child will then receive a set of tickets for the evening. Students have asked that the dress code for the evening is “smart casual”!
