Find out about Clan MacBeth from your local library or on the Internet. Discover their tartan, clan history and their clan motto. Is the name still used today? What other surnames come from that clan? Produce a paper or computer based presentation on what you find out.

Find out about Scotland’s cultures and traditions by visiting the local library or using the Internet. Create a leaflet about Scotland. It could include pictures with labels or sentences with information. You could find out about clans, food and drink, the flag and the national anthem.

Evaluation: Choose ONE of thetasks below:
Produce a piece of artwork showing ones of the scenes from Macbeth. You can use any medium – collage, drawing, painting or paint on the computer.
Design and make a simple booklet on the story of Macbeth for another student in the class. Your work can include pictures and simple sentences. You can use paper or a computer.
Visit Record your activity by creating an experience diary, having your photograph taken completing the activity or ask your parent to sign your school diary stating what you have completed.
Make a video, create a poem or a rap about what you have learned about Macbeth.
Find a production of Macbeth at the theatre or on television or the computer and watch it with your family. Explain the story to them as you go along.
