Task:Research Q1“What was Life like at the Time of Your Favourite Pharaoh?”

In groups of 3 you are going to Research and Create a Newspaper or Magazine in the Time Period of your Favourite Pharaoh in Ancient Egypt.

Requirements of the Newspaper or Magazine-:

  1. Name the Newspaper or Magazine “______”

  3. You and your group should research and do Articles that reflect life at that time Articles could be on any of these topics

(i) Pharaoh Report to People, (ii) Gods and Goddesses at the Time,

(iii) Building Reports on New Structures,(iv) Fashion Report, (v) Wars or Conflicts, (vi) Uses of the Nile, (vii) Sport and games, (viii) Arts and Jewellery,

(ix) Music and Dance, (x) Mummification and the After-life, (xi) Beliefs and Superstitions, (xii) Medical and Health, (xiii) Education, (xiv) Money and Trade,

(xv) Life of anyone on the Hierarchy

  1. Newspaper or Magazine can include Advertisements
  2. Pictures should be used where relevant with Articles and referenced.
  3. All Sources should be Referenced using APA Referencing and should be provided on a separate sheet to the Newspaper or Magazine
  4. Each Member of the Group should Produce 2 to 3 Pages of the Newspaper or Magazine and be able to verify their contribution and self-reflect on their contribution and how it demonstrates the life and culture of Egypt at that time.
