Year 11 School Examinations 2015

3, 4, 7, 8 and 9 December

  • No coursework or home learning, apart from revision, will be set in the two weeks before examinations beginning. (Thursday 19 November)
  • Exams start each morning at 9.00am.
  • You will not be registered in tutorial. You will wait in the Dining Room until 8.50am and then you will be directed to the yard where you will be registered in your teaching group for that exam (If raining you will be registered in the dining hall).

Those of you with Special Arrangements will be registered by Mrs Brunsden.

  • Break for Year 11 during this examination period will be at the end of the first exam in the Dining Room (the Buttery will not be open during this time).You must confine yourselves to the Dining Room, yard and toilet area only. You must not disturb other lessons.The times for break are shown on the timetable.
  • Those of you taking Option X and Y in a classroom will only start your examination after break.
  • You may remain in school for lunch which will be at the normal time and in the main dining room.
  • Examinations in the afternoon start at 14.00.
  • You are responsible for all equipmentyou need for each of your exams.
  • You must not bring bags into any examination room; they must be left in a locker. Any bags left outside the Sports hall will be removed.
  • You must not bring mobile telephones/mp3 players etc into any examination room.
  • You will be made aware of the regulations set by the examination boards. Failure to comply with these regulations by not working in silence or distracting other students will result in removal from the examination, parents informed and a period of detention after school. This may also be reported to a future employer or college.
  • If you are staying in school after an examination and need somewhere to study you must bring a note from your parents, before the examinations start, to MissSephton. If you have completed all your examinations for the day you may go home to revise.
