RESOURCE HIRING CHARGES AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
YEAR 10 – 2017
The Parents’ and Citizens’ Association have set the Resource Hiring Charges for 2017 at $160.00. A $10 discount applies if the full amount or a contribution towards the full amount is made by March 24, 2017.
The Resource Hiring Scheme is voluntary. If you do not wish to participate you should advise the Business Services Manager, prior to school commencing on January 23, 2017. A list of books and other resources required is provided below along with pricing. Obviously, pricing may vary between suppliers.
The Essential Pencil Case
STUDENTS REQUIRE A USB. It is recommended the pencil case is large enough to hold valuable items. All students are required to have all necessary materials for each lesson, red and black/blue biros, pencils (HB, 2H, 4B, 2B), a ruler, a sharpener, coloured pencils, scissors, glue, eraser, highlighters and a small stapler. WHITE OUT AND NIKKO PENS ARE TO BE LEFT AT HOME.
Note: A dictionary and an atlas are useful. Keep these items from Year 7. This equipment must be replenished as it runs out so it is available in class at all times. Please check equipment as each new term begins.
If you wish to participate in the Glenmore State High School Resource Hiring Scheme you need to purchase items listed in To be provided by Parents Column for your students and Glenmore State High School provides those items listed in Textbook and Materials Cost.
If you do not wish to participate in the Glenmore State High School Resource Hiring Scheme you will need to provide the items listed in both columns.
Visa, Mastercard and Eftpos facilities are available at the General Office.
BPOINT & BPAY is also available.

Extension Maths: Calculator – Students intending to study Maths B in Year 11 should consider purchasing a TI-Nspire graphics calculator for $185 through the school.
Other Classes: Calculator: A scientific calculator is required. The TI-30XB scientific calculator is highly recommended and can be purchased through the school for $20.
