PC AND ACTIVITY RINGS RUN UNDER PCAV RULES, OPEN RINGS WILL RUN UNDER EA RULES. PCAV RING REQUIRES A GEAR CHECK BEFORE COMPETING & COMPETITORS MUST PRODUCE PC CARDS. Full conditions are available in this program. Ribbons to fourth place in Open, PC and Activity Rings.

CANTEEN ALL DAY –BREAKFAST FROM 8am in the Lions Club Shed adjacent to the Showgrounds arena.


Gate Fee - $5 per vehicle (lucky gate prize)

Raffle available on the day- tickets available from canteen & wandering sellers. Prizes list outside the canteen!

Classes may be split or combined at the Judge’s discretion.

All competitors must supply their own number to be displayed

on both sides of the horse or on breastplate.

All competitors must wear approved helmets and club uniform.

Medical armband will be required for any jumping phase.

No stallions due to this event being a combined PCAV event

RING 3 ACTIVITY RING

Ring commences at 12.00 – closes 3pm

Ride at any time and results are recorded in the following age groups-

7 and under

7 & under 10 years

11 & under 14 years

14 & under 18yrs

18 & over

$5.00 entry fee

Presentations to be made at end of the day, listen for the announcement.

Pony Club and Open Ring Competition Conditions:

PCAV members entering this competition are admitting an acknowledgement that PCAV rules apply and are accepting of these rules.

The organizing committee reserves the right to cancel any class or competition; divide any class; alter times; refuse any entry with or without stating the reason.

No refunds on unused tickets.

Neither the organizing committee of this competition nor the PCAV accepts any responsibility whatsoever for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, ground spectators or any other person or property.

For Pony Club members, PCAV club member cards must be inspected at the event office before riding.

Medical armbands must be worn by all competitors in Pony Club and Open rings.

All riders must wear complying helmets. Spot checks to ensure compliance may occur.

Gear check is compulsory for all pony club and open competitors.

Queries, protests, horse abuse rules as per the PCAV Handbook of By-laws.

Dogs are prohibited without exception.

Horses must be at least 4 years old, no stallions, colts or rigs.

PCAV lunging policy applies.

No plaiting. Clipping is permissible.

FOR OPEN COMPETITORS WHO ARE NON- EA MEMBERS. Before riding, in open section competitors must sign a day attendance form. A $10 per day attendance fee must also be paid. However, Pony Club and HRCAV members who present a current member card are exempt from the fee.

Clipping is permissible. No plaiting. Open rings will be run under EA regulations.
