Who:

We are taking about 100 students and leaders from local middle schools. There will be 50 people that are working at Oakbridge to make our week great. Our leader to student ratio is about 1 to 3 this year.

What:

Oakbridge is owned and operated by Young Life. Less than an hour's drive from beautiful San Diego, California, Oakbridge Conference Center is a natural escape from the everyday routines of life. It's a place where relationships are built, bonds are formed and lessons learned. Comfortable accommodations, quality prepared meals and beautiful scenery helps make this the best week of your life!

When:

Depart: June 22nd, Wednesday from the NW corner of Tatum and Thunderbird. Arrive at the bus at 7am. Departure shortly there after.

Return: June 27th, Monday, on the NW corner of Tatum and Thunderbird. Arrive around 7pm. When we get close we will have students call on cell phones to update our arrival time.

ALSO PACK:

·  2 sets of clothes and one pair of shoes that you can thrash and throw away

·  It can be cold some of the time at night so bring some warm clothes!

Note:

Campers may lock money and valuable items in the camp office during the week. Please note that no alcohol or drugs are allowed. If a camper is found with these items, they will be sent home at the parent’s expense. Additionally, Young Life has a policy that does not allow, ipods, mp3 players or cell phones to be used during the camp week. However, campers are allowed to bring and use them on the bus, but while at camp, these items will be available but locked in the camp office.

Cost:

The cost for entire trip to Oakbridge is $625. This includes all transportation and camp fees. This cost will not cover any clothes or snacks purchased at camp, or food on the way to and from camp (2 meals on the road, snacks, t-shirt- about $40?) The camp provides all meals at Oakbridge.
