MEMBERSHIP COMMITMENT AND AGREEMENT
WITH THE
WASHINGTON YACHT and COUNTRY CLUB
I/We have applied for membership to the Washington Yacht & Country Club, Inc.
By my/our signature(s) below, I/We agree to be bound to the following:
New Member: I/We will be required to pay a $0 initiation fee by signing a One year commitment
I/We will be required to pay $750 for early termination of commitment
Promotional pricing will convert to Standard Club pricing on January 1, 2020.
In consideration for accepting the above, I/We agree to comply with all other requirements imposed under the application process: the Club Member’s By-Laws and the Rules and Policies (all as may be amended from time to time) and including but not limited to the following:
1. Applicable monthly dues based on membership classification,
2. Any Capital Fees or other fees imposed or required,
3. A monthly dining room food minimum, currently $25/45/50/$32.50/$90 and $55 depending on membership classification,
4. Obtain one member sponsor signature and be approved for membership.
I/We further agree, that if I/We terminate membership in the Club at any time within the first year of membership, I/We will pay the full amount of the initiation fee. I/We acknowledge this to be a fair and equitable measure of damages to the Club for any early termination or breach of this contract or as an inducement to join the Club.
If a breach of the Membership Commitment and Agreement occurs, I/We agree to pay interest on my/our obligation to the Club at the interest rate of 18% per annum until paid in full. If the Club has to take action to collect my obligation, I/We agree to reimburse the Club for its collection fees, expenses and any attorney fees and /or expenses.
