Supplies Due: Wednesday 8/21/13

Finished Cover Due: Friday 8/23/13

What are we doing? You will be decorating a Writer’s Notebook cover to make it more personal! We will use this for Language Arts. We will begin decorating one of the students’ notebooks that they already have in class on Wednesday by using a regular 8x11 sized piece of paper and gluing all items onto the paper around our clearly written names. Please laminate and complete by Friday using clear sheets of plastic that are sticky on one side (contact paper). If you cannot get supplies, just ask- I’m here to help! Have extra at home to donate? Feel free to contribute! . It is usually sold at places like Walmart, Target, JoAnn’s, and other stores with craft supplies.

Requirements: In a safe place, please bring:

1-2 photos (print offs from the computer are better so the lamination process doesn’t ruin a “one and only” photo. Be careful.

5 pictures from a magazine or other source (can be hand drawn too!). Only 2 may be clip art.

1 quote, phrase, word that describes you. (example: “never give up!”)

1-2 items of your choice.
