We have an important job opening on our digital team. Could you forward this announcement to anyone you think may be interested? We are looking for a smart and passionate digital campaigner who will help us in our fight to protect clean water.
As you may have heard, EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt has officially proposed the repeal of the Clean Water Rule, which restored Clean Water Act protections to half our nation's streams and thousands of wetlands across the country.
Repealing protections for drinking water sources for 117 million Americans simply makes no sense. Clean water is vital for the health of our families, our quality of life, and our environment.
Environment America and our allies helped build the support it took to win the Clean Water Rule in the first place, gathering over 800,000 public comments and holding more than half a million face-to-face conversations with folks across the country --and we're gearing up to go all out to defend the rule now.
That is why we are looking to strengthen our team and add a new digital campaigner who will help us build support and engagement online about this critical issue. If you know any students who are great communicators, quick learners, and fired up about the environment, please forward them this message.
Thank you,
Micaela Preskill
