When: Saturday, December 3 from 9 am – 1 pm Where: Clearwood Junior High Gym

Who: Girls and Boys from Kindergarten to 8th grade

Cost: $30 – Includes 4 hours of instruction, t-shirt, and a performance at the CJH Basketball Game

Performance: December 6th at 6:30 pm at the Clearwood Junior High gymnasium during halftime of the girl’s basketball game. Participants must have black shorts or pants and tennis shoes for the performance.

What should my daughter/son wear to the clinic?

·  All participants will be moving and grooving, so loose fitting pants or shorts are fine. Tennis shoes or dance shoes will be required. No one will be allowed to dance barefoot. Please have a comfortable t-shirt or sweatshirt – no crops tops or tank tops will be allowed.

What should my daughter/son bring to the clinic?

·  All participants will need to furnish a bag lunch, or can buy a lunch combo (cheese pizza, chips and soft drink) for $4.00.

·  All participants will need a “ready to work” attitude. Any discipline problems will result in dismissal from the clinic and there will be no refunds.

Participants will be divided into 3 categories:

Grades K – 3rd – Ballet/Jazz Dance and skills

Grades 4 – 6 – Jazz/Hip Hop Dance and skills

Grades 7 – 8 – Jazz/Hip Hop Dance and skills

During the course of the clinic, we will work on the following:

·  Ballet positions, turn and leap techniques, and balance

·  Jazz and Hip Hop elements

·  Learning and performing a fun dance

·  Skills necessary for any dance team tryout!
