Would you like to be part of the team that makes Glas-Denbury happen?

We are a very friendly group of people from all walks of life who are all committed to providing our artists and guests with the best event we can possibly give them. Each member of the team is passionate about what they do and what they create and together we all have a great deal of fun doing it! It is hard work sometimes but one of the most rewarding things you can ever do is make people happy and that’s what we love doing. Below we have listed some of the roles we are looking to fill. If there is a role that you would prefer, then please let us know. We will do our best to find you a shift on that role although we cannot guarantee it. Please be assured that we try to fit everyone to roles there are suited too wherever possible as this makes the whole experience better for all! In return for your time we offer you access to the festival and a chance to become part of something very special indeed – please see below for more info.

Gate Stewards; The team on the gates are the first people that our guests usually meet. We therefore need friendly, smiley and confident people who will welcome them in and out. You may be taking tickets or issuing wristbands alongside security, you may be just checking wristbands in and out of a gate or you may be assisting traffic into the car park or camping field. You could be guiding traders in and out of the event in the days running up to the festival or ensuring the safe departure of the campers on the Sunday. We also need a team on the artist gate welcoming in artists, working with the artist liaison team.

Toilet Fairies;These wonderful toilet fairies entertain everyone and make our toilets a fun place to be! They keep a check on the toiletsand ensure they are left clean and of course have loo roll! They help people locate free toilets to keep queues to a minimum. We don’t expect you to get on your hands and knees scrubbing them but we have found that if there is a team always by the toilets then people will respect them more and they stay clean throughout the festival. Fancy rubber gloves and feather dusters provided! This is such an important role and one we really respect people taking on.

Camping Stewards; This team is on hand in the camping fields to ensure that our campers are happy and answer any queries they may have. They need to check the toilets there on a regular basis and could be checking wristbands in and out of the camping field. They will work closely with security to ensure all camping rules are being adhered to.

Waste Team; Throughout the festival we need people to be checking the site to ensure it is litter free and to alert event control should they find anything untoward or anything that needs dealing with. Litter bins need to be removed from site and taken backstage when they are full and sorted into recycling bins. We also need a team for post festival to sort the waste into the relevant recycling bins backstage after the festival. We are committed to recycling and work hard to keep a clean, waste free site. This is such an important role and one we really respect people taking on.

Stage Stewards;This team is located at each stage to ensure the exits to backstage are monitored and also to ensure the emergency exits are kept clear, no smoking is adhered to and generally to assist the public should they need help. Usually stewards work on their own in these positions. The benefit here is you get to watch the stage easily!

Crew Runners; The whole crew work enormously hard over the days of the festival and we need a team of runners to assist us. They could be responsible for gathering drinks for crew, running between stages or gates, sourcing food for crew etc. This is a position where you very much become part of the team backstage, learning how the festival is run and working closely with the main team.

Bar Team; We require experienced bar staff to work our busy bars. This role is most definitely one of the most fun to do. 18+ only.

Site Build; We need a team of people who are able to help build the site on the Thursday which could include installing or creating of décor, fencing, signage etc. It could also include welcoming in of traders to site and assisting them.

De Rig Team; We need a team of people to help us derig on site and clear everything away. This takes place heavily on the Sunday and also sometimes into Monday and Tuesday so any willing help much appreciated!

Please note the following;

*In return for a minimum 4-hour shift (can be split) whether it be before, during or after the festival, you will receive access to the event on one of the performance days. ie. If you work a 4-hour shift on the Friday daytime and also Saturday daytime, you will receive access on both the Friday night and Saturday etc. If you choose to be on the de rig team on the Sunday and also the Monday, then you will receive access to the festival both Friday and Saturday etc. Please contact us if you have any queries regarding this.

*At the event itself you will be introduced to our wonderful team members who will look after you and will check you in and out of your shifts and answer any questions you may have.
