  5. This document helped to cause WWI because, after Germany sent this note, the British intercepted it and told the USA what Germanys plans were. This made the United States upset, and officially provoked them to enter war.
  6. This document could be seen as political because Germany wanted the United States to join the war. Also, psychcological because the United States was “persuaded” into joining WWI, just because they wantd to fight back against Germany.

Serbia was angry and denied that they were responsible for the assassination and they would not submit themselves to Austria-Hungary. Then, Austria-Hungary became very angry as well.

  5. The Narodna Odbrana was like a father to the black hand which comes later. 6 members from the Narodna Odbrana forms much harsher form of nationalist society which is known as the Black Hand. Most people think that it was the Black Hand that was involved in the assasination, but since the Black Hands members moved so secretively, there is no actuall evidence of assasination being the Black Hand’s repsonsibility. However, what we do know is that the assasin, Gavrilo Princip, was member of the Narodna Odbrana, and there is theory that it was the Narodna Odbrana that was responsible for the assasination

Autria-Hungary took advantage over Serbia since it was right next to each other, which is geographic featureof this conflict. Austria-Hungary took control of Serbia’s economy as well as politics. And since the nationalist society was formed because of relationship between two country which was sociological feature of this conflict.

Therefore, it declined on the extreme ultimatum that was set because it did nothing to deserve such a thing.
  4. The document was written because Austria-Hungary believed the Serbian government was involved in the assassination of their Archduke. Because of this, they sent an ultimatum which would basically give them control of Serbia.
