CALL FOR NOMINATIONS FOR ELECTION TO THE
EXECUTIVE BOARD

Article 9 - WCET Constitution

The World Council of Enterostomal Therapists shall elect biennially the following Executive Board positions:

President Vice-President Treasurer Committee Chairpersons

Members nominated for election to the Executive Board must:

a)Have beenFull or Life members of the WCET in good standing for at least two (2) years.

b)Have no conflicts of interest as specified in the Policy and Procedures Manual.

c)Assume office immediately following the WCET Congress.

d)Have consented to serve in writing prior to being nominated to the position

Election to the Executive is an interesting and rewarding experience, allowing both professional and personal growth. If you wish to nominate someone for an office, please do not hesitate to contact any member of the Executive Board for more information. A description of the Roles and Responsibilities can be found on the website.

Please consider nomination or accepting a nomination as it is your wealth of experience shared with the association that enables the WCET to go from strength to strength. Nominations for positions must be received by the Nominations Chairperson six months preceding the biennial congress.

  • Be nominated by the members of the relevant Standing Committee.
  • Be an active committee member in good standing for at least two (2) yearsprior to the election to the relevant Chairperson position.
