"The Local Boat class will include Cornish Pilot Gigs, Celtic Longboats and other non-FISA coastal rowing boats, but NOT sea kayaks.

The exact number of races and their timings will be determined by the number of entrants in each category, and will be promulgated on the WCRC09 website 2-3 weeks prior to the event.

It is, however, intended to race boats in mixed-category heats of 20-30 hulls over the short course along Plymouth Hoe, but with seperate events for mens and ladies crews.
