The Finnish Shooting Sport Federation and the Shooting Club of Orimattila will organize its’

3rdInternational Junior Shotgun Cup in Skeet, Trap and Double Trap

in Orimattila from the 28th if June to the 3rd of July 2011.

This is competition is the secondcompetition in the three competitions International Junior Shotgun Cup competition series

SuhlGermany- Orimattila Finland- Porpetto Italy

Porpettois also the venue for the 2011 Cup final.

Attached to this bulletin you will find a one page information leaflet concerning the competition and entry forms.

Please distribute this information to your coaches and shooters. We wish all junior shotgun shooters welcome to take part in what we believe will is a major event for juniors.

2011 INTERNATIONAL JUNIOR SHOTGUN CUP, FINLAND

VENUE:The 2011International Junior Shotgun Cup, Finland competition in skeet, trap and double trap will be held at the SalolaShotgunRanges in the town of Orimattila in the vicinity of Lahti. (Same as last year).

TIME:The 28th of June to 3rd of July 2011

All events will include a final.

No maximum participation limit. 3 shooters per event from each country will form the official national team for the team event Additional teams can be entered.

ENTRY FEES:

Individual fee per shooter and event 70 EUR

including:

- two round of official training

- daily transport, official hotels – shooting range

Team fee for each team entered 70 EUR

Additional training per round, skeet and trap 6 EUR

Additional training per round, double trap 11 EUR

Transport per person (airport – hotels) 60 EUR

Gun permit per federation* 27 EUR

*Note: The temporary gun permit is only for those federations and shooters which travel without an EU Gun Passport.

Entry fees shall be paid upon arrival in the competition office. All payments in cash, no cheques or credit cards accepted.

TARGETS:NASTA targets will be used. The colour of the target is orange. Flash targets will be used for all finals.

FINAL ENTRY:

Please fill in the final entry form and return it to the organizing committee by 6th of June 2011 latest.

Each federation will receive a confirmation of entry by fax or e-mail. The entry situation is shown on the competition web site and will be updated regularly.

POINT OF ENTRY:

Arrival and departure airport is the HELSINKIINTERNATIONALAIRPORT.Lahti can also be reached by ferry to Helsinki connecting either to the train or bus for Lahti.

TRANSPORTATION:

Transportation between the Helsinki international airport (HEL) and the official hotels will be provided by the organizing committee upon request. Transportation fee is 60 EUR per person payable at the competition office upon arrival.

Daily transportation between the official hotels and the shooting range is free of charge.

ACCOMMODATION:

The Organizing Committee has reserved four good level hotels in Lahti (approx. 25 min. from the range).

CUSTOM REGULATIONS AND WEAPONS CLEARANCE:

The organizing committee will apply for temporary group gun licenses for each federation not travelling with EU Gun Passports. The gun declaration forms to fill will be sent to you upon request. The gun licence fee for each federation is 27 EUR. The organizing committee will advance this fee for each federation. The fee is payable at the competition office upon arrival.

European Union citizens are advised to apply for an EU Gun Passport. Groups where all shooters are travelling with gun passports are not subjected to the licence fee.

AMMUNITION:

The Finnish custom authorities will allow the import of all necessary ammunition. Most popular brands are available at the shooting range.

NATIONAL FLAGS:

We kindly ask each federation to bring two national flags suitable for an8 meter flag pole (three flags if you intend to win all three medals in a discipline…).

The organising committee’s internet pages will include the latest information on the competition, bulletins, forms etc. During the competition results and other information is available on a nearto online basis.
