- Branna advised that this year’s budget is $500.00 and will be preparing a budget for the next actual committee meeting.
- Food order was discussed and decided upon as: Fruit & vegetable trays, cheese ball & cracker platters, gourmet cookies & brownies, GORP (trail mix), and fruit punch. This is subject to change according to the other charges we may be incurring for the event.
- Ted will be in charge of securing the signage for event. It was decided to do primarily what was done last year: General fair sign, directional signs inside and outside of Hillenbrand Hall, and signs to identify each organization/table at the fair. Signs will be made such that they may be used each year.
- Drawing: WorkLife will purchase a copy of The 36-Hour Day, handbook for caregivers. Attendees will sign in at entrance by filling out a “raffle” type slip. Drawing will occur at 1:00 p.m. We will need to come up with a drawing box and entry slips. Other ideas for the drawing wererestaurant gift certificates and movie passes.
- Freebies/door prizes: It was suggested that we contact CVS, Walgreen’s, and Osco pharmacies; Eli Lilly, and other local/area pharmaceutical companies to donate pens, pill boxes, etc.
- Parking day of event: In front of Hillenbrand on 3rd Street – A & B stickers and some free spaces as available. Also, Purdue staff may ride City Bus free (using Silver Loop or the trolley)
