The WOONSOCKET HIGH SCHOOL MUSIC BOOSTERS will hold their third monthly meeting on Monday evening, November 2nd, at 7pm in the high school band room.

We would like to congratulate theBand & Color Guard for their outstanding performance during the Autumnfest Parade. We want to thank our boosters who marched with the band and helped with the equipment truck. Thank you also to all of our students/parents who worked in the Lions Club doughboy booth.

Yankee Candle orders are being processed; students will be notified when the shipment arrives.

Select Choir Ladies and Select Choir Menwill be performing at the “Novans Got Talent” Benefit Show on Saturday, November 14th. Doors open at 6pm, show starts at 7pm. There will be raffles, door prizes, and refreshments. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at Woonsocket High School or by contacting Robin Riel-Saillant at 742-9278. Pre-purchased tickets will have better seating choices. All proceeds from the show will go towards the Gramstorff family. Please support this great cause and join us for an entertaining evening. Student performers should arrive by 6pm.

All–State auditions are Saturday morning, November 21st @ Moses Brown School in Providence. Individual times will be posted soon. Students need to find their own transportation and bring original copies of their audition pieces along with the appropriate audition forms.

On Thanksgiving Day, all band members areto report to Barry Field for 9:15am. Game time is 10am until approximately 12:45pm. Dress in uniform with appropriately layered clothing for cold weather.

Concert Tux/Gown info: Students will be outfitted for tuxes & gowns on Tuesday, 11/3 and Wednesday, 11/4. All girls need black nylons and black dress shoes for the concerts. All boys need a white long-sleeve dress shirt, black socks and black dress shoes for the concerts. Also, a $10 tux/gown uniform cleaning fee was due at the end of October. If your child has not brought this in yet, please remind him or her to do so.

The first payment of $200 towards the Virginia trip is due by November 20th .

Checks or money orders only, made payable to: Woonsocket HS Music Boosters. If students already have money in their trip accounts, they can use that towards the first payment. Trip eligibility forms have also been given out to students and should be returned on or before November 20th. The 2 remaining payments of $200 each will be accepted in January and February. Please let us know ASAP if you are interested in chaperoning…the chaperone price is $400 ($150 due by November 20th)Chaperones will need to have a BCI check completed. This can now be done at the Woonsocket Police Station for $5.
