Weather - Please be aware that the woodland explorers club takes place outdoors in any weather – including heavy rain. The only exception is in the case of moderate/high winds (Beaufort 5 or above) and electrical storms, in which case indoor contingency will be provided. Our outdoor base camp will have dry spaces for the children to use if desired, but we tend to find children love the opportunity to play in the rain! Your child may come home muddy!

Your child will also have the opportunity to use tools (peelers, saw, palm drill) in a supervised environment. The site and activities on offer are carefully risk assessed, and we take every precaution to ensure safe play. Our staff are fully First Aid Trained to a high level with a focus on paediatric and outdoor provision. Although we hope not to encounter ticks, please do familiarise yourself with the health guidelines.
