HOW TO ENTER

Please read the Competition Terms and Conditions overleaf before you start.

Drawings sent to us, whether by email or post, without a completed Entry Formwill not be accepted.

2. Let the drawing commence!

Please use a separate plain sheet of A4 paperto be creative on. The drawing can be inlandscape or portrait format.

3. Send the drawing back to us. Once your child has finished their drawing,please send us boththe drawing and the completed Entry Form either by email or post.

  1. You can either scan your child’s drawing or, if you don’t have access to a scanner, you can take a photo of it. If you are taking a photo take a close-up photograph of the drawing, making sure the image fills the frame. You should also take the photograph in good light and from a direct, overhead position so that the image is square-on and not at an angle.
  1. Save the file as a PDF (scanned image) or JPEG (photograph), naming it with your child’s name. It should be no more than 5MB in size (ideally c. 3MB) or with a minimum 300dpi (maximum 600 dpi).
  1. Attach the completed Entry Form, along with your PDF or JPEG file of the drawing, to an email.
  1. Email your entry to with Pen a Pet in the subject line.
  1. Email entries must be received by Wood Green, The Animals Charity by midday Tuesday 1 December 2015.

Post:

  1. Print off a copy of the completed Entry Form.
  1. Staple the drawing to the Entry Form.
  1. Place the Entry Form and the drawing in an envelope.

Please do not fold or crease the A4 sheet as this maydamage the drawing and make it void.

COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By submitting an entry to Wood Green, the Animals Charity Pen a Pet Christmas Drawing Competition 2015 (the “Competition”), youare deemed to have accepted the following terms and conditions:

• Entry is open to all UK parents, legal guardians, persons with parental responsibility (“parent”) and with a child aged up to and including16 years as at 1 December 2015, excluding employees of CVS or other companies within the Computershare group, or their familymembers, or anyone else connected with the Competition. We reserve the right to ask for proof of age of children whose drawings aresubmitted to the Competition. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint entries are not allowed.

• Entry is free. No purchase is necessary.

• One entry per child.

• One winner will be selected.

• Drawings must be drawn on an A4 sheet of paper, in landscape or portrait format. Please try to fill as much ofthe A4 paper as possible.

• Entries must not use any computer-based graphics software for the drawing.

•Entries can be received as an email attachment (see overleaf for further details) or by post.

•The entries must be received by email or by post by midday on 1 December 2015.Entries received after the closing date and time will not be included in the Competition.

• Each entry must consist of the drawing and a completed Entry Form.

• Entries will not be returned to the sender.

• Wood Green, The Animals Charity may declare any entry to be null and void (including if the entry is incomplete, spoiled, damaged or otherwise deemednot to be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Competition) at its sole and absolute discretion andwithout consultation or notification to the entrant.

• The winning entry will be announced at the Christmas Extravaganza event on 3 December 2015 and through Wood Green, The Animals Charity’s social media.

• The winner will be notified by telephone on or around 4 December 2015. If a winner cannot be reached within 48 hours or rejectsthe prize that is awarded to a winning entrant, Wood Green reserves the right to select a new winner of the prize.

• The winner of the competition will win a behind the scenes VIP tour of one of Wood Green, the Animal Charity’s four centres: Godmanchester, Heydon, London or Northampton.

• The judges’ decision is final.

Consents and Permissions

• By submitting your child’s entry, you consent to Wood Green, The Animals Charity using your child’s drawing for promotional and PR purposes at its discretion (including, without limitation, publishing images of all entrieson the charity’s Facebook, blog and Twitter networks, and website).

• If your child’s entry wins, we may also approach you for permission to use a photograph of your child with their winning drawing andprize, for use in additional promotional and PR purposes.

• We reserve the right to manipulate the image of your child’s drawing for design and production purposes, so that it is suitable forHMTL and other formats.

General

• Wood Green, The Animals Charity shall not be responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for anytechnical or other reason. Proof of delivery of entry is not proof of receipt.

•Entries will not be passed to third parties.

• Personal data submitted to the Competition may be kept by Wood Green, The Animals Charity for an indeterminable period of time and used for futurepromotional campaigns and updates.

•If you do not wish us to contact you with promotions and updates please email us at . Any personal data submitted by the entrant will be used solely in accordance with currentUK data protection legislation. It will not be passed to third parties.
