Women’s Military Dependent's Championship Golf Tournament

The 55th annual tournament will be held at Joint Base Charleston S. C. Wrenwoods Golf Course in Charleston, June 5 - 9, 2016. We hope that you will be able to join us.YOU CAN FIND MORE INFORMATION AND DOWNLOAD ENTRY FORMS AT WMDGT.NET.
Entrants must be amateur golfers, female at birth, and adult dependents (at least 18 years of age) of active duty, retired, reserve component or deceased service personnel of the five United States Armed Forces with a valid Military Dependent’s ID card. The field will be limited to the 96 applicants with the lowest handicaps who return their entries no later than April 1, 2016. Contestants will be required to show their valid military ID card when registering, and a copy of your card must accompany the entry form.
Tournament will be flighted, according to handicap. Play will be 54 holes of stroke play. The WMDCGT Champion will be the player with the lowest GROSS score over the field for the tournament. The low net winner will be the player with the lowest NET score over the field for the tournament.
Entry fee is $350.00. This includes green fees & carts for tournament play as well as practice round, range balls, Welcoming Party, Score Watching Party, Awards Banquet and prizes. Deadline for entry is April 1, 2016. No refunds after April 30th, 2016. All applicants will be accepted unless you are notified otherwise.
Guest fees will be $125.00 for the Welcoming Party, Score Watching Party and Awards Banquet. Guest fees must be paid at the time of entry. Four days of men's golf outings are being planned. To assist our men's outing committee, please fill out the guest information on the entry form. Guest fees do NOT include green fees for the men's golf outings. Additional information will be provided at registration.
Registration will be at the clubhouse on Sunday, June 5, from noon until 6 pm and on Monday, June 6, from 8 am until 1 pm. Tee times for Monday’s practice round will be made at registration.
LODGING – There are 2 lodging options:
A.Holiday Inn Express & Suites Charleston/Ashley Phosphate. Located at 7670 Northwoods Blvd., North Charleston SC 29406. Group Rate $109.00 per night. (Approx 10 mins. from the base)

IMPORTANT: This rate will apply from June 3 - 10, 2016. The last day to make reservations at the discounted group rate will be May 6, 2016. After this date, rooms may be available but the group rate is not guaranteed.
The rooms set aside for the tournament have either one single king bed or two queen size beds.All rooms have a refrigerator, microwave, coffee/tea maker, free local phone calls and free wireless/wired internet. This rate includes the hot breakfast available from 6am to 9:30am.
