Questions Raised by Tenderers:
Question / Answer1 / Has GeLead been engaged in the design of the program thus far? / GeLead were consulted during the design of the program.
2 / In regards to the additional 100 participants that will attend Step 3, how many electives will they be permitted to choose from the 5 available? / Up to three (03) electives
3 / What is the ARF rate applicable for Course Designer and Course Leader and guest presenters? / To be proposed by the course provider depending on the skills and experience of the individual/s
4 / A1 ARF rates for the Course Coordinator and Course Welfare Officer are stipulated in the RFT. Are these indicative or conclusive? / Conclusive.
5 / What is the definition of “provincial location (city)” in relation to Step 1a: Retreat in Vietnam on page 2 of the RFT? / Any location outside of Hanoi in central or northern Vietnam excluding in Son La or Thai Nguyen provinces.
6 / With regard to the Welfare officer for in-country activities (Step 1, Step 2, Step 3), is it a MUST to have a Welfare officer for these activities, and if it is, MUST she be a local? / The Welfare Officer is only required for the in-Australia module (Step 4).
7 / For the intensive course in Australia, will the Welfare Officer be a local and travelling with the group, or she can be a person of Vietnamese origin and now based in Australia? / It is up to the course provider to nominate a person with the approprioate skills and experience for the role. It is not a requirement that s/he be Vietnamese.
8 / With regard to the DRAFT COURSE program (2-pages), does Step 1 here means Step 1a and Step 1b)? / Yes.
9 / Is there any technical issues for a Technical Proposal (e.g. font and size of the letter, and so on) / The font type is to be Arial, no smaller than 10 point and in single column format.
The Coffey or DFAT logo is not to appear on any Tender documentation.
10 / [Changes to the design of Step 3: Electives] / The total number of available electives designed and delivered by GeLead has been reduced from five to three. Course participants will be required to select a minimum of two and a maximum of three electives.
