______, P.E., is a Geological Engineer who earned her Bachelor’s Degree at Colorado School of Mines. She is currently a Senior Project Manager at MWH Global, an international environmental and civil engineering company. At MWH she has been involved in a variety of projects including coal mine planning, geologic hazard assessment of proposed water pipeline and design of tailing storage facilities. ______has worked on projects both in the U.S. and internationally, and has recently been working on projects in Peru and Chile. From 2010-2013 ______was the global leader of the Young Professionals Group at MWH Global. In 2012 ______was awarded the Top 5 Most Influential Young Professionals in Colorado. He has been involved with designing, building, testing and flying satellites for Lockheed. ______received his Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and has worked in many different roles as an engineer for one of the top engineering companies in the country. Journalism, Reporting and Being a Sports Anchor Thursday December 4, 2014

______is a Colorado native and a seasoned sports professional. He started his career as a sports reporter in South Bend, Indiana after he graduated from Notre Dame. He worked his way back to Colorado to join CBS4 in 1998. He is a 27-time Emmy Award winner, 13 of which are for Best Sports Anchor which he has won 10 years in a row. We are excited to have him speak about journalism and being a sports reporter and anchor.

Dr. ______will be talking with us about his career as a doctor and more specifically being a neurosurgeon. Dr. ______is currently a neurosurgeon at St. Anthony Hospital. He completed his undergraduate work as biology major at the University of Chicago and attended medical school at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. ______spent 7 years doing his residency at Vanderbilt University Hospital. He currently specializes in spine surgery using 3D image guided navigational technology. We are thrilled to have Dr. ______speak about his expertise in the medical field.

The Many Faces of Nursing Thursday January 15, 2015

______has been in the field of nursing for 18+ years. She first started in nursing working with high needs pediatric patients who were on a ventilator. She has worked in the Intensive Care Unit and was hired as a Trauma Nurse Coordinator at Lutheran Medical Center. ______works with EMS and other state agencies to improve trauma care and emergency management and injury prevention for her hospital community as well as for the region and the state. She has many awards and accolades including the Florence Nightingale Award, Wheat Ridge Chief’s Award and the Jefferson County Injury Prevention champion Award. ______is Co-Chair of the Regional Trauma Advisory Council’s Injury Prevention Committee. ______has been an Assistant Regional Director for the Enforcement Division in the Denver office of the Securities and Exchange Commissionsince 2004. Before that, she worked in the Denver office as a Branch Chiefand Staff Attorney. As an SEC enforcement attorney, Ms. ______'s job is to enforce the U.S. securities laws for the protection of investors, including bringing actions against persons and entities responsible for insider trading, financial frauds, and Ponzi schemes, among other things. Prior to joining the Commission in 1996, Ms. ______was an associate at the national law firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP where she began her legal career. Ms. ______received her J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law in1990 and a B.A. from the University of Colorado in 1987.

In this session, ______will talk about how his team uses software and math to solve hard problems that benefit all of us in our everyday lives. ______has worked for Microsoft for over 15 years, during that time he authored one book, co-authored three books, and has worked with some of the largest and most visible companies including a leading online auction site, an aerospace manufacturer, telecommunications providers, and an online learning provider.

Careers in Law … from the Perspective of a Judge Wednesday February 4, 2015

______has over 20 years of experience representing clients in courtrooms across the country. He graduated from Columbia School of Law and clerked for a Federal Judge in the Southern District of New York. He was a partner at Davis, Graham and Stubbs Law Firm where he served as a trail lawyer. He has handled complex litigation involving products liability, environmental toxic torts, commercial disputes and personal injury disputes. He has represented major international corporations, regionally-owned companies and mid-sized businesses in Colorado. In July 2013 ______was appointed by Governor Hickenlooper as a District Court Judge in the First Judicial District. He currently has 250 active cases including criminal, civil and domestic cases.

Careers in Federal Law Enforcement/Criminal Justice Thursday February 19, 2015

______works as a Special Agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Denver. She specializes in counterintelligence investigations and is also a team leader for Denver’s Evidence Response Team. After graduating from the FBI Academy in 1994 Special Agent ______worked in Los Angeles on varied investigations including Civil Rights, White collar Crime, Bank Robberies and other Violent Crimes and Major Offender matters. In 1996 she became a member of the FBI’s Evidence Response Team which is the FBI’s version of CSI. In 2002 Special Agent ______started working on Counterterrorism investigations on the Denver Joint Terrorism Task Force. She has been deployed internationally to Tanzania, Jordan, Thailand and Hungary and has worked on an expansive number of investigations including plane crashes, bombing investigations, school shooting, kidnappings, cyber-crimes and crimes against children.

He is a 15 year veteran of software engineering in the Medical Device Industry and has spent that time developing Image Guided Surgical products to aid in the treatment of Spinal, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, and ENT disorders. He loves his job because he can go home knowing that he has built products that make people’s lives better.
