New Payment Facilities For Our Patients To Settle Their Bills

In our effort to provide greater convenience and flexibility to our patients who need to settle their hospital bills, we have made arrangements with Singapore Post to allow our patients to settle their outstanding hospital bills using any of the Singapore Post’s facilities without the need to come to the hospital. These are:

Ø  Post Offices

Ø  Self-Service Automated Machine (SAM)

Ø  Virtual Post (vPost)

With effect from 20 June 2002, the above services are provided free of charge to all our patients who wish to make payments through the above facilities.

(i)  Post Offices

(a)  With an extensive network of 63 post offices located strategically at HDB town centres, patients can settle their hospital bills at respective post offices closest to their homes.

(b)  Payment can be made with cash, NETs, Cashcards, Visa and Mastercards. Payer will need to produce a copy of the hospital bill or reminder.

(c)  Receipts will be issued by the post office.

(ii)  SAM

(a) Singapore Post has a total of 93 SAM machines located conveniently at MRT stations, major shopping malls and HDB town centres.

(b) SAM operates round the clock and is ideal for those who are working as they can now pay their hospitals bills at any convenient time and place.

(c)  SAM is equipped with touch screen technology, graphics and simplified text and is user friendly.

(d) SAM accepts only NETs payment.

(d)  To make payment, simply click the TTSH icon,

key-in the case or tax invoice number

followed by the contact number

and amount payable.

Receipt will be issued once payment transaction is completed.

(f) Payer can call 1605 or log on to www.singpost.com for a list of the locations of SAM.

(iii)  vPost

(a)  Patient who wish to pay their bill on-line via the internet can use vPost.

(b)  Free vPost membership is available on application by logging on to www.vpost.com.sg.

(c)  vPost accepts payment via Visa/Mastercard and "giro on demand".

(d)  To make payment, click the TTSH icon to key in the case or tax invoice number, followed by the contact number, the amount payable, the preferred payment mode and the credit card number.

(e)  Hard copy of the receipt can be printed from the screen once payment has been processed.
