ABSTRACT:

In the modern scenario, industrial advancement has improved a lot in monitoring and controlling various process parameters such as Temperature. This monitoring and control where done by using the latest wireless technology of “Zigbee” technology. Monitor the status of a temperature, which is otherwise called as real time monitoring via the system. The parameter examined is the temperature, monitored by use of (real time temperature sensor), This is the latest technology of wireless communication. Compare to other wireless technology (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, RF signal) very efficient and safe.

The project Wireless temperature measurement and control system is based on PSOC fabricated with temperature sensor (LM75).Here in the project we are using a switch array such that the desired temperature value can be set and these values can beincremented and decremented. If the set point is incremented/decremented automatically a buzzer will gets switched ON and relay gets turned OFFthese values will be wirelessly transmitted to the receiver side and can be displayed on PC .

PSoC(ProgrammableSystem-on-Chip) is a family ofintegrated circuitsmade byCypress Semiconductor. These chips include aCPUandmixed-signalarrays of configurable integrated analog and digital peripherals. With unique array of configurable digital and analog blocks, the Programmable System-on-Chip (PSoC) is a true system level solution, offering a modern method of signal acquisition, processing, and control with exceptional accuracy, high band width, and superior flexibility. Here we are dealing with PSoC 5 device (CY8C5588AXI).

ZigBee is the name of a specification for a suite of high level communication protocols using small, low-power digital radios based on the IEEE 802.15.4 standard for wireless personal area networks (WPANs), such as wireless headphones connecting with cell phones via short range radio. The technology is intended to be simpler and cheaper than other WPANs, such as Bluetooth. ZigBee is targeted at radio-frequency (RF) applications that require a low data rate, long battery life, and secure networking ZigBee is a low-cost, low-power, wireless mesh networking standard. The low cost allows the technology to be widely deployed in wireless control and monitoring applications, the low power-usage allows longer life with smaller batteries, and the mesh networking provides high reliability and larger range.

This project uses two power supplies; one is regulated 9Vfor PSOC and 5V for other modules. 7805 three terminal voltage regulator is used for voltage regulation. Bridge type full wave rectifier is used to rectify the ac out put of secondary of 230/12V step down transformer.
