Process for WIPA Project Staff with No Previous ETO Experience
- Upon receipt of your WIPA laptop, contact the ETO Technical Help Desk at 1-855-816-0890 to register your machine and retrieve your ETO account username and password. Your new ETO username and password will give you access to the WIPA Training site which you may use to assist in training and getting acclimated with the system.
- Prior to receiving access to your WIPA project’s ETO site to begin data entry, you must complete the following two required ETO training sessions:
Session #1 - Entering Data in ETO to Accurately Reflect WIPA Service Delivery, Part One: This training introduces WIPA staff to the Efforts to Outcomessoftware thatsupports WIPA work. We will provide an overview of how the various components of ETO correlate with the different levels of WIPA services. The NTDC team provides details on how to use the essential functions of ETO and how to complete initial tasks in the I&R program prior to entering new data,as well as all procedures and protocols related to working with referrals from the Ticket to Work Help Line.
If you did not participate in and complete the live offering of this training provided by VCU on March 14, 2017, you must access and complete the archived training posted on the VCUNTDC website:
Session #2: Entering Data in ETO to Accurately Reflect WIPA Service Delivery, Part Two: This training will build on Entering Data in ETO to Accurately Reflect WIPA Service Delivery, Part One and focus primarily on recording activities in the I&R program, as well as recordingindividualized services provided to beneficiaries who are enrolled in the WIPA Services program in ETO. This training will explain the importance of complete and accurate data entry not only as a record of the services delivered, but also how it relates to achieving the WIPA benchmarks. The VCU NTDC team will provide detailed guidance on how and when to create Efforts, record Assessments, and upload documents.
If you did not participate in and complete the live offering of this training provided by VCU on March 16, 2017, you must access and complete the archived training posted on the VCUNTDC website:
IMPORTANT: You must complete both sessions prior to gaining access to your WIPA project’s site in ETO to enter data.
- Once bothsessions are complete, contact your Social Security Project Officer via email with the date of completion. In the email, please include your first and last name,and the name of the WIPA project.
- Your Project Officer will inform the ETO Technical Help Desk to activate your ETO account so that you can begin entering data in your project’s site. NOTE: It will take up to 48 hours to complete the request.
- Once your request is completed you will have access to your associated WIPA project site in ETO to begin entering data. Access to the WIPA Training site will be removed when you are provided access to your WIPA project’s site.
