What's the format?

Note the following changes from previous years.

Each players best score for the weekends play to be submitted by the team captain to the coordinator. The best 2 Stableford scores and the lowest Stableford scoreof the scores submitted will be the team score for the weekend. If a player enters a weekend competition and has a non-return (N/R) that score must be counted as Zero. So, it is imperative that all scores are accounted for to avoid the Zero points.

(Saturday/Sunday) counts as your winter league team score.

Players can play both weekend days but only their best score on either day will count. (While this may be considered an advantage to those who are available to play both days, this encourages all entrants to play as often as possible).

A team will be able to discard their worst score;however, this may be reconsidered if the weather conditions do not remain favourable which could result in cancellation of some weekends play.

The league will be run over two rounds.

The first round will commence the weekend Saturday/Sunday 4th5th November and will run until Saturday/Sunday 16th/ 17th December. (One Weekend in December will not be included as the annual Christmas Scramble will take place on this weekend)

Thesecond round will commence fromSaturday/Sunday 6th7thJanuary 2018 and will run until Saturday / Sunday 17th 18th February 2017.

After the 1st round is completed we will split the league into 2 divisions. 1st and 2nddivision.

(The split of the league will be decided by the competition committee)

Thescores for all teams will be wiped from the 1st round and the teams will then compete in a new leaguewhich will also run to the weekend of the 17th/18th February 2018

The top 4 placed teams in each league as ofSunday 18thFebruary2018will play against each other in Fourball Matchplay format over 12 holes on Sunday 25th February 2018.A draw will be conducted between the four qualifiers to see who plays who.

There will then be two separate finals. 1st and a 2nd division Finals will take place on Sunday 4thMarch 2017. The finals will be played over 18 holesin Fourball Matchplay format.

Full details of the Matchplay terms and conditions will be advised to each team Captain prior to the matches
