CLASS ASSIGNMENTS: (Note: This page is just for instructors to track work completion)
Due Date: / Assignment / DescriptionN/A / Solution-Focused Presentation / 10-15 minute presentation in dyads on assigned chapter from Solution-Focused Counseling in Schools textbook. Prepare no more than on-page written outline of chapter to share with class highlighting key points, review these key points during presentation, and prepare some sort of hands-on activity to help class experience some of the techniques in the chapter such as role-plays, discussions in dyads, games, or activities from the end of the chapter.
N/A / Research-Based Intervention / 10-15 minute demonstration of a research-based classroom, school, or counseling intervention or program that you or your supervisor have or might use this semester. Briefly describe the intervention or program, including any helpful details on cost/ordering, how to implement, describe research which supports effectiveness, and incorporate some sort of hands-on activity to demonstrate at least part of the program or how it works.

November 15 / Goal Update / On the goal chart template that you submitted in September, please fill in fall-mid semester update at the bottom of the chart and submit. Describe the progress you have made on the goal and what you still need to do to complete the goal.
List of Assessments / Use list of assessments chart from the portfolio to track the type of assessments you have completed with a description of the test, what it measures, and why you would use that specific test, then tally the number of times you have administered each specific assessment.
Demographics / Use demographics form in practicum portfolio template to access the USOE website to obtain specific demographic info for you school(s).
Ethical Dilemma / Use ethical dilemma template to address an ethical problem you have observed or experienced at your practicum site. The steps will be reviewed in class.

Supervisors Evaluation / Provide the On-Site Supervisor’s Evaluation of School Psychology Practicum Students form in the practicum portfolio template to have your supervisor complete and review with you and turn in to me in electronic form and save a copy for your portfolio.

Portfolio Draft / Compile all fall assignments and forms into the on-line practicum portfolio template. Also summarize bullet points of activities you have had in each the 10 domains and write a reflection statement on your bullet points, as well as experiences in class and in practicum in each domain.

(2) Student presents on a research based counseling curriculum or behavioral intervention technique
(3) Turn in all paperwork and evaluations with portfolio. See portfolio assignment list below.
