Audition Form

Please fill out completely and turn in to Mrs. Deason’s blue box by the Drama bulletin board by June 12, 2017 all forms are due no later than 3:15pm on June 12th. No Exceptions!

You will not be allowed to audition without this form, the photo release form, and the parent commitment form filled out and turned in by June 12th. Please print out and staple all 3 forms together. This means it is turned in before the auditions on June 13th.

Come prepared with a one minute monologue and ready to free style dance for 30 seconds. Remember to develop your character’s personality. Think about how they would move, behave, and talk.

If you are auditioning for Squirrels, Oompa Loompa’s, Cooks, and Candy Man Kids you will need to dance and say as an audition group “ I want a golden ticket!”

If you are interested in crew, you need to write a letter to Mrs. Deason telling her why you are responsible and would be a good person to be in one of the following positions: production assistant, house manager, stage light manager, spot light manager or sound/microphone technician(2 positions). Depending on the number of kids interested in crew assistant positions may be added.I understand as a crew member I will accept the responsibility of learning how to care for, clean up, and put away equipment and this may require that I stay after rehearsals and performances. Crew positions are for 4th-5th grade students only.

Thank you for trying out for Willy Wonka Jr..Offer letters will be sent out by Wednesday, June 14th. There will be a cast meeting on Monday, June 19th 3 PM – 3:45 PM.Scripts will be passed out at the meeting.

We have reviewed the rehearsal schedule and my child will be able to make all dates he/she is assigned

My child’s tuition will be paid in September. I realize if tuition is not paid by then my child will not be able to participate in the show and his/her part will be reassigned. Tuition link will be sent out in September.

I can commit to either volunteering at one rehearsal on a Monday or Tuesday from 3-5pm during the months of September 2017- November 2016. OR I will sign up for a parent job for the show (a Sign -up Genius will be sent out in September 2017) By making this commitment I realize this fulfillsthePTSA Sponsored Program Mandatory Requirements: In order for your student to participate in a PTSA after-school program, you, as the parent or guardian, are required to volunteer as a class chaperons at least once during the course of each program your student is in. Please read the Program Policies found on the Rosa Parks PTSA website. By registering for a program, you agree to comply with these policies.

I realize that if I do not follow through and show up for my assigned job my child may not be eligible to participate in future shows.
