Date and Time of Your Event

Choosing the right day and time for your event is an important detail. When completing the form, please try to estimate the end time of your event. External events are not booked on any Sundays, the week before Easter, Thanksgiving weekend, or the month of December. Our church has a 1:00 pm cut-off time on Saturdays in order to accommodate our evening services. Date and time slots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis with priority given to our ministry groups. Therefore all events are confirmed no more than three months prior to the event date.

Church Facilities and Parking

No food or drink is allowed in the Sanctuary with the exception of communion. Please note that WillingdonChurch does not allow dancing, alcohol or gambling of any kind on the church premises.Parking for events is available in the church parking lot (147 spots) and in the underground parking lot (109 spots) with access off of Gilpin Street. People attending events are asked to respect our neighbours by not blocking driveways and lanes in the area. Residents have the right to tow.If your event exceeds our on-site parking, WillingdonChurch will make other arrangements if possible. Please discuss your parking needs with the Events staff.

Church Decorations

Please discuss the church decorations with the Events staff at least three weeks prior to the event. Plans for elaborate or unusual decorations must be reviewed and discussed with the Events staff as well as delivery schedules. Please note that all seasonal decorations take precedence over event decorations. Any decorations provided by the client are their responsibility to be removed within one hour of completion of the event. In consideration of the church building, we ask that nothing be affixed to the walls or structure.

We will have about 25 high school students and chaperones. There will be around 5 or 6 young ladies and the rest will be young men. There will be two male adult chaperones and 1 female adult chaperone. Would prefer to have the ladies sleep in a different room then the men. If we’d be sleeping in a gymnasium space, all can sleep together. We can pack a lot of guys into a large room, just need sleeping back space on the floor. It would be wonderful if there was shower access! 
