  • Director, Business Development2006-2008

Orchestrated a win-strategy targeting a $50M program by responding to articulated and projected requirements. Projected requirements were on-target and the customer incorporated these capabilities into their future product concept. Simultaneously developed in-house technical expertise while allocating and coordinating resources (within the company when available and externally when advantageous) to assemble a dual purpose cadre. We demonstrated discriminating advantages that our concept provided over the competition. Due to shortfalls in staffing the team that was to respond to the proposal was never released to kick-off this effort and it was curtailed.

  • Strategic Innovation2005-06

Developed the Northeast Engineering Development Center’s (NEDC’s) strategic profile focused on marketing existing software & hardware integration expertise while investigating and tapping into resources provided by the (now closed) Griffiss AFB. Identified and led the execution of a process to establish and maintain the strategic profile for the company. The implementation involved borderless coordination across the enterprise to identify the specific capabilities and principle motivation behind each site within the company. With this established, capabilities could then be integrated into highly leveraged solutions to customer requirements. This execution of the Strategic Thinking Process was so expertly orchestrated, thoroughly executed, and exceptionally well presented that the Vice President for Intelligence Systems insisted on my participation in all of Intelligence Systems strategic engagements.

  • Senior Systems Engineer2005-05

Engaged in the distillation of requirements in response to an RFP involving national level intelligence capabilities for a friendly foreign government. Successfully identified key differentiators supporting the selection of the winning architecture – developed at greatly reduced cost. This effort is presently on the second year of a multi year contract with no limits to growth or expansion.

  • Deputy for Technology Transition 2001-05

Air Force Research Laboratory, Rome, NY

Led the directorate for classified national level intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) technology transition and acquisition unit staffed by 8,800 personnel at 10 major research sites, with an annual budget of over $2 billion. Discovered, developed, integrated, and delivered revolutionary technology. Provided leading edge warfighting capabilities;guided worldwide partnership of government, industry, and academia.

Aerospace Systems Office, Wright Patterson Air Force Base (AFB), OH 45324

Orchestrated interaction between user, acquisition, and research and development lab communities. Developed automated tools for sharing of information between these groups;facilitated refinement of lab programs to better suit future requirements. Increased user awareness of “realm-of-the-possible.” Prepared the System Procurement Office for smooth integration of technology into their programs as it became available.

Operation NORTHERN WATCH, Incirlik Air Base, Turkey

Provided essential communications and administrative support to the Coalition Task Force of 1,400 members from threecountries, including management of staff correspondence and commander’s daily schedule. Received Air Force Expeditionary Service Medal with Combat border.

Provided coordination with staff, major commands, and various departments for systems modernization programs valued over $2 billion. Ensured all programs and initiatives were designed for a smooth transition to DoD standard architectures and directly increasing readiness and combat capability.
