Membership Form

Mission Statement

The Wisconsin Distributed Resources Collaborative (WIRDC) is a voluntary collaborative committed to facilitating and promoting the successful deployment of economic, efficient and environmentally responsible distributed resources in Wisconsin. The Collaborative is not organized for profit and no part of the net earnings of this organization shall inure to the benefit of any member of the Executive Board or any other individual member except that this Collaborative may make payments of reasonable compensation for services rendered.

Membership

All WIDRC supporting members must abide by the WIDRC Collaborative Agreement.A copy of the Collaborative Agreement can be reviewed and downloaded from the WIDRC website. It is necessary tocomplete and sign this Membership Form andmailit,along withdues payment, for a membership to be complete. Members must renew membership and pay dues to the WIDRC at annual renewal dates,beginning January 1st of each year,using this membership form. A WIDRC member may voluntarily terminate its membership or change its membership from a Supporting Member to an Advisory Member by written notice to the Steering Committee or its designee. However, a WIDRC Supporting Member that terminates or changes its Supporting Membership status shall not be entitled to any refund of the annual dues paid or obligated.

Supporting Members (voting members)may include any person or entity; shall pay required dues annually to maintain membership status in the WIDRC; have the opportunity to participate in decision-making (voting) by the WIDRC except that a governmental Supporting Member may not vote on the public position to be taken on an issue by WIDRC;may participate in the WIDRC Steering Committee and may lead and participate in any other Standing Committee of WIDRC; and shall be entitled to receive at least one copy of all documents, reports or other information developed by or for WIDRC at no cost as well as receive at least one free admission to any conference or event sponsored by WIDRC.

Advisory Members (non-voting members)may include any person or entity that has a stake in distributed resources but does not wish to be a Supporting Member; shall not be required to pay annual dues; may participate in discussions but shall not participate in decision-making (voting) on any issue; may participate in any committee except the Steering Committee and Executive Committee; and may not lead any Standing Committee of the WIDRC.
