Here is Sheriff JohnHogard with further details.
REESE RUNG stares into the CAMERA waiting for it to cut away…and it does, a tad too late. SHERIFFJOHNHOGARD is standing at a press conferences, cameras and news reporters all want a piece of this story.
SHERIFF JOHNHOGARD
At approximately 5 am, the victim reported the incident to city officials. From what the victim has told us, our suspect is around 6 feet tall, wears a black mask and goes by the name JackLeever. Once again we know very little about the suspect, but we do know the information about him is present. What does he looks like, how did the victims get there, and what’s the suspects motives, these are questions authorities have been working on for hours. If anyone knows any information please let authorities know. Is there someone out there who can tell us, WHO IS JACK LEEVER.

EXT. HIGHWAY- EARLY MORNING
FADE IN: 80’S MUSIC
SEMI drives by with a trailer that reads BUFFALO BILLS SEX TOYS.
INT. SEMI
BUFFALO BILL (40 year old, with scruffy beard, teeth missing). Tapping his THUMBS to the music. RADIO DISPATCHER announces over the CB Radio.
RADIO DISPATCHER
(V.O.)
Be strongly advised…
BUFFALO BILL reaches to turn down his RADIO. He turns the radio down and a DARK FIGURE is barely seen through the front windshield. A POP is heard, BUFFALO BILL swerves the SEMI.
EXT. CLOSE-UP: BUSTED RIGHT REAR TIRE
SEMI swerves and screeches to a stop.
INT. SEMI
BUFFALOBILL
Son of a bitch.
He turns OFF the engine, opens up the DOOR and steps out the SEMI.
EXT. SEMI- EARLY MORNING
BUFFALO BILL closes the DOOR. A CROWBAR is on the outside back of the SEMI. He walks around to the flat tire in the back. He KICKS it. He walks around to the SEMI and REACHES for the CROWBAR. The CROWBAR is missing. He reaches slowly for the SEMI door and OPENS it. His WALKIE-TALKIE is lying on the seat. He REACHES for it. Suddenly, decrepit HANDS grab the DOOR, and start bashing it in on BUFFALO BILL’S HEAD. He falls to the ground catching himself with his hands. A SHADOW encloses on BUFFALO BILL, his EYES widen with fear. The HOOK of the CROWBAR lodges into his chest. Still alive, he is DRAGGED by the crowbar, his HEAD put in front of the FRONT TIRE. The SEMI enigine starts and the SEMI moves forward. BUFFALO BILL screams.
CUT TO:
EXT. DEPECHE MODE CONCERT- DAY
FLY DOWN FROM A BIRDS EYE VIEW:
A GREEN 1984 TOYOTA CAR drives out of frame. PAM is making out with FRAT BOY 1 and walks to his GRAY CAR, it’s apparent they’re going to have sex. DAN is breakdancing with HARVEY and GREGG watching, he gets up and puffs some weed. APRIL walks into a long line of people waiting to get tickets.
APRIL is next in line, she moves up to the counter.
DARIA
Just 1? That’ll be 60 dollars.
APRIL
60 dollars? It was advertised as 40.
DARIA
Thats for early tickets.
APRIL reaches in her pocket and counts her money.
FOLEY
Hey lady can you hurry up, theres people waiting.
APRIL
Well can you get me anything for 50 dollars.
DARIA
Sorry 60 dollars is the price of the tickets.
APRIL walks away and FOLEY bumps into her as he moves up in line. APRIL ignores him and keeps walking. She walks down the sidewalk back all bummed out. A GRAY CAR drives beside her, it slows down and falls back, and then speeds up and drives next to her, he’s suspiciously following her. APRIL looks at the car and it speeds off. She looks to the left and sees a wire FENCE that leads to the CONCERT. APRIL sees a cut opening in the FENCE, looks around and steps in. She’s INSIDE THE CONCERT.
EXT. INSIDE THE CONCERT- DAY
Thousands of people are at this concert. APRIL walks through a group of them, she thinks shes big stuff, so she grabs a BEER being carried by on a tray to someone by WAITRESS I, takes it and puts some money on the tray. She sips it, and sees a body guard and walks the opposite direction. CONCERT MANAGER 1 walks up to BODY GUARD BRUTUS and points at APRIL, she didn’t pay. BODY GUARD BRUTUS get’s on his walkie-takied and radios it in, BODY GUARD 2 joins him. APRIL sees this going on out of the corner of her eye. She’s in trouble, she has to do something quick. Then she sees MICHELLE (elegant, middle aged woman), walking into the concert, she puts her ticket stub into her pocket book and puts it in her purse. She sees GOOD FRIEND 1, and gives him a hug- long time no see. APRIL watches carefully as the BODY GUARD BRUTUS and BODY GUARD 2 move in.
MICHELLE
Well recently I’ve been skating and I have to say it’s quite a workout.
APRIL walks into MICHELLE and GOOD FRIEND 1’S conversation.
APRIL
Oh, skating is a great sport, it’s becoming so popular that they’re thinking of putting it on tv.
MICHELLE
Oh really?
BODY GUARD BRUTUS grabs APRIL on the shoulder, APRIL turns around.
BODY GUARD BRUTUS
Excuse me, I’m going to need to see your ticket.
APRIL’S trapped, she looks towards the exit, trying to think of a way out. She looks at the BODY GUARD BRUTUS who is very serious.
APRIL
I should have it in my pocket book.
She reaches into her pocket and pulls out her black POCKET BOOK. Opens it up, and pulls out a ticket stub.
APRIL
Here it is.
BODY GUARD BRUTUS grabs it and looks at it to see if it’s fake, then he hands it back to her.
BODY GUARD BRUTUS
Sorry for the inconvenience, enjoy the concert.
He turns around and walks away. APRIL smiles and walks to a group of guys partying. On her way there she passes MICHELLE.
MICHELLE
Now let me give you my card.
She reaches into her PURSE and can’t find her POCKET BOOK.
MICHELLE
Where’s my pocket book, I could’ve sworn I brought it.
There’s a guy watching APRIL. His face is not visible but it’s obvious that hes watching her dance with a group of guys. He puts on his gloves, this guys going to kill APRIL. Unbeknownst to APRIL she walks around. She opens up the POCKET BOOK and pulls the money out. She walks by a bar and gives the POCKET BOOK to BARTENDER 1. The mysterious man is watching this happen. He can’t hear what APRIL is saying but it’s obvious that she’s telling BARTENDER 1 that she found the POCKET BOOK. She sits down on a COUCH facing the bar. She’s getting tired. This is the perfect time for the killer to make his move, so he creeps up slowly behind APRIL to strangle her. APRIL whos sitting on the COUCH glances behind her, no ones there. APRIL is getting extremely tired. She rubs her eyes and falls asleep. Someone walks in front of her.
CUT TO:
INT. BOILER ROOM – DR. X’S HOUSE
SLOWLY PAN OUT:
APRILS FACE TO HER SHOULDERS.
APRIL’S eyes OPEN. She looks around the room in a daze. She sees 12 other teenagers in the room with her. Each one has a petrified look on their face. They are all STARING at the DOOR (Contains one small window in the upper ¼ of the door). This is the only door that leads to the room. APRIL is CONFUSED. She looks at BARBARA (Blonde hair, preppy looking), she notices she has HANDCUFFS behind her back. She sees FOLEYS hands, they are HANDCUFFED also. She looks down and sees that her hands are HANDCUFFED also. She tries to WIGGLE out of it- no use.
APRIL
What the hell is going on here?
No one answers. APRIL struggles with the handcuffs not noticing that no one answered. Then it occurs to her that no one answered. She looks up at FOLEY, he STARES at the DOOR, his face is white as a sheet. APRIL looks at the door almost as scared as FOLEY.
SLOWLY PAN INTO:
THE DOOR
The sound of FOOTSTEPS get closer and closer to the door. ERIN (Red head, snobby, mean) bows her head to PRAY. JOHN’S (Muscular, protagonist-like)LEG is shaking. APRIL, who’s sitting next to JOHN, looks down at it. APRIL is starting to become FRIGHTENED herself. She looks back at the door.
THE FOOTSTEP’S STOP.
The DOOR cracks OPEN. Before the killers face is revealed.
A DISTINCT AND HAUNTING VOICE BELLOWS:
DR. X
Stand-up and face the wall, now.
APRIL and the other 12 STAND-UP and TURN their faces FACING the wall. DR. X looks at APRIL. His face is HIDDEN.
DR. X
Ah, everyone’s awake. Let’s have some fun.
A portion of JACKLEEVER’S mask is seen through the window as he ENTERS the room.
PAN DOWN:
TO JACKLEEVER’S HAND. HE HAS AN AXE.
APRIL’S face is facing the wall. She can’t see anything that’s going on behind her. She hears JACKLEEVER walking with the AXE. JACK’S SHADOW slowly passes over each person as he looks for his VICTIM. It slowly passes over APRIL.
APRILS PERIPHERAL VISION:
APRIL displays a small sigh of RELIEF as the SHADOW passes over her. Suddenly JACKS FACE, DARK and BLURRY, comes back in APRILS vision. It’s STARING right at HER. JOHN, is SHAKING. JACK’S HAND lands between JOHN and APRIL. He grabs JOHN and PULLS him away. APRIL can’t help but TURN AROUND and watch as JOHN is DRAGGED on the floor KICKING and YELLING. JOHN’S body is pulled HALF WAY outside the door. The AXE swings high in the glass WINDOW, comes back down STRIKING JOHN. His struggling LEGS go limp. Blood slowly oozes out from under the door. JOHN’S body is pulled completely out from the door. APRIL finally realizes how much trouble she’s in. She’s SCARED like the rest of them.
DR. X
You’d appreciate that, if you survive. Follow me to the foyer.
APRIL sees DR. X (45 years old. Moustache, wacky hair, proper looking). He turns around and walks out the door. APRIL follows the crowd as they walk single file out the BOILER ROOM. They reach the FOYER.
INT. FOYER
The FOYER is a dimly lit, open area, like a huge mansion. All 11 teenagers line up in a SEMI-CIRCLE. DR. X stands in front of the group.
DR. X
Welcome to my land. This is my house, this is my property, and while you’re here you play my game. Heres how we play: The winner goes home alive, no questions asked. The loser, doesn’t go home at all. You are all guests of honor here, and I treat all my guests equally…except one. Equally each and every one of you will die, but only one of you will live.
DR. X opens up a CIGAR BOX and dumps 2 handcuff KEYS on the ground.
DR. X
Those are for your handcuffs. Good luck, because here, skill can’t save you. JACKLEEVER ENTER.
A sliding door behind DR.XSLIDES open. JACKLEEVER (Muscular build, tall, black mask, black suit) stands in the doorway. He has a SLEDGE HAMMER in his hand.
DR. X
Begin.
SLOW MOTION-CLOSE IN ON APRIL:
Everyone except APRIL scatters around the room. Some run out the main door. APRIL is just STANDING too much in shock to move. The KEY on the floor gets KICKED. BARBARA squats down to pick up the key, JACK stands over her and BASHES her in the head, sending her SLIDING across the floor. JACK follows her and hits her more. ERIN runs to the key and picks it up. APRIL still standing, sees CARTMAN (fat, glasses, obnoxious) grab the other KEY. She looks up and sees JACK make eye contact with her. He THROWS the SLEDGE HAMMER at APRILS head. The HAMMER heads right for her, still APRIL doesn’t move. Before it can reach APRIL completely someone unintentionally runs in front of APRIL and gets caught with the SLEDGE HAMMER right to the HEAD. APRIL looks down at the person who fell in front of her… it’s FOLEY. She looks back up at JACK who’s walking towards her. APRIL runs out the door with the rest of the others. JACK grabs the HAMMER, STOMPS his boot into FOLEY’S stomach, causing him to crunch forward, and follows up with smash to the CHIN.
EXT. OUTSIDE DR. X’S HOUSE- DR. X’S WOODS- MIDNIGHT
APRIL, who’s running stops amidst the chaos. She sees CARTMAN running deep into the woods, APRIL follows. CARTMAN, trying to make it far, trips on a tree root and breaks his ANKLE. He YELLS, and sits down behind a tree. APRIL looks around to see if he attracted any attention and conceals herself behind a tree. APRIL is 2 trees away from CARTMAN, she notices him trying to unlock his HANDCUFFS. APRIL looks both ways, and runs across to another tree, making her 1 tree closer. The tree she’s located at is about 30º away from the house ENTRANCE. CARTMAN still struggles with the key. APRIL wants to move to CARTMAN’S tree. She looks around, and runs a quarter of the way there when the house DOOR opens. JACK steps out. APRIL turns back around and DIVES behind her tree. JACK doesn’t notice, he looks around for a kill. APRIL sits frightened behind her tree. She looks over at CARTMAN who’s preoccupied trying to get his HANDCUFFS off; he doesn’t notice anything. CARTMAN straightens his leg in the leaves.
JACK HEARS:
CARTMAN RUSTLE in the leaves.
He looks over in CARTMAN’S direction, and moves in towards APRIL who is adjacent to CARTMAN. JACK sees someone moving off to the left. Distracted, he walks to the left leaving APRIL and CARTMAN alone. APRIL waits a second until the coast is clear. CARTMAN is still trying to get his HANDCUFFS off. APRIL runs to CARTMANS tree, startling him, he stands up to run away.
CARTMAN
Shit.
APRIL
I’m not going to hurt you.
CARTMAN looks back at APRIL and sits back down.
CARTMAN
(VOICE ELEVATES)
I’m going to die, your going to die, we’re all going to die. There’s no escape, none.
APRIL looks around as CARTMAN elevates his voice.
APRIL
Shh. Be quiet.
CARTMAN
(WINES)
I just want to go home. I shouldn’t be here.
APRIL
Nobody should be here. Here, let me help you with that key.
CARTMAN
(VOICE ELEVATES)
And have you run off with it? There’s no way.
APRIL
I’m not going to run off with it. I help you you help me…okay?
CARTMAN
(CALMS DOWN)
Alright, hurry-up.
APRIL sits side by side by CARTMAN. She holds the HANDCUFFS with one hand and holds the key in the other. JACK walks in the background unnoticed. APRIL undoes the handcuffs, CARTMAN drops the HANDCUFFS and limps to another tree.
APRIL
What are you doing? You said you’d help me.
CARTMAN
(HIGH VOLUME)
Help you and get killed? Your out of your mind.
OFF-FOCUS:
JACK MOVES IN BEHIND CARTMAN.
APRIL’S eyes widen, she sees JACK. APRIL tries to get CARTMAN to shut up at the same time trying to keep herself unnoticed.
CARTMAN
(CONTINUES)
There’s a psychopath, running around and killing people, and your asking me to…
A LAWNMOWER hits CARTMAN across the face. JACK rears back and hits him again. APRIL conceals herself behind her tree so JACK can’t see her. Yet she watches. JACK starts up the LAWNMOWER and grinds it in CARTMAN’S face. APRIL picks up the KEY, and starts RUNNING.
