Balfour Junior Academy – Admissions Policy Consultation
Who is being consulted?
The consultation is being communicated by Balfour Junior Academy to the following:
Medway Council
Kent County Council
All parents and carers of the academy (directly via email)
All parents and carers of the academy via website
Headteachers/Principals of all Medway schools
Chair of governors of all Medway schools
Registered early years providers within Medway
All recipients of the consultation will be welcome to email their feedback/response to the following: by post to Balfour Junior Academy, Balfour Road, Chatham, Kent, ME4 6QX, marked for the attention of the Clerk to the Governors.
What is the overall process?
The consultation will commence on 19th December 2017 and will run for a period of six weeks until midnight on 31st January 2018. On conclusion of the consultation, on 1st February 2018 all responses received will be collated and presented to the Governing Body on Monday 5thFebruary 2018 for full consideration. The outcome of the consultation will be posted on the academy’s website by Friday 23rd February 2018.
Will there be updates throughout the consultation?
The FAQ document will be updated throughout the consultation where necessary. Please note that the FAQ will not detail the responses received in the consultation, but will address specific questions with regards to the process. The purpose of the consultation is to receive feedback on the proposed changes and for the responses to then be collated and presented to the Governing Body for full consideration. There will be no further updates throughout the consultation period, outside of the FAQs being updated.
When will the outcome of the consultation be communicated?
