Senior Facts:

  • Seniors are allowed two excused days in the fall to visit college campuses. (Must follow the instructions on the form located on whitestation.net under resources.)
  • Seniors must obtain permission to be excused from school in the spring for college auditions or interviews.
  • Tennessee Educational Lottery Scholarship Program awards $16,000 over four years to Tennessee residents graduating with is a 3.0 unweighted or a 21 ACT. Must complete the FAFSA, and list one Tennessee school for elibibility.
  • Tennessee Promise Scholarship pays for two years of community college or a technical degree. Must apply before November 1, attend two mandatory meetings, and acquire eight hours of community service.
  • Seniors must turn in a folder to their alphabet counselor with all their materials in order for the counselor to send out transcripts and to write a letter of recommendation (Instructions and hand outs were given to the students during a classroom guidance lesson.)
  • Transcripts WILL NOT be sent out without a Transcript Release on file and a Transcript Request Form(s). (Transcript Release and Transcript Request Forms can be located on whitestation.net under resources.)
  • ACT scores must be electronically sent through

  • Graduation is May 21, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Cook Convention Center
  • Prom is April 1, 2017
  • Senior dues are paid second semester
  • Senior heads must be taken through Jimmy Alford Studio, 901 751-1512, before October 7, 2016 to be featured in the yearbook.
