VOLUME UP or DOWN:
Provides volume control for the ringer, handset and hands free speakers.
SPEAKER :
Enables and disables hands free mode.
MUTE :
Allows you to temporarily turn your phone’s handset or hands free speaker microphone off during a call. You will still be able to hear the caller but they will not be able to hear you.
FIXED FUNCTION KEYS
CANCEL :
Ends a call when pressed during the call, and, when you are programming the phone. Eliminates any input and returns to the previous menu level.
REDIAL :
Calls the last external number dialed. Pressing your redial key will automatically activate your speakerphone.
HOLD :
Places the current call on hold.
TRANSFER/CONFERENCE:
Initiates a call transfer or establishes a three-party conference call.
MESSAGE :
Flashes to notify you of messages waiting in your voice mailbox. Provides access to your voice mailbox.
DIALPAD:
Use to dial. The keypad on your system is “hot”. This means you do not have to lift your handset before beginning to dial. Once you begin to dial a number, your speakerphone will automatically be activated. You may then lift your handset for a private conversation.
CALL HANDLING
MAKING A CALL:
Dial 9 + the telephone number using the dial pad.
OR
Dial the extension number or use PHONEBOOK.
ANSWERING A CALL:
Lift your handset or press SPEAKER
HOLD:
To place a call on hold, press HOLD with the caller on the line. To retrieve a call from hold, press the flashing line key.
TRANSFER:
With the caller on the line, press TRANS/CONF and dial the extension number of the third party. The caller is now placed on a temporary hold allowing you the option to announce the call to your co-worker before sending the call. Hang-up to complete the transfer.
NOTE: If your co-worker does not answer and you wish to return to the caller, press your CANCEL key .
CONFERENCE:
With the caller on the line, press TRANS/CONF .
Dial 9 + the telephone number of the next party or the extension number of the next party. Wait for an answer and press TRANS/CONF . The conference call has now been established. You may repeat this process for up to 8 party’s total.
PARKING A CALL:
With the caller on line, press the PARK key.
The display will show the 2-digit parking slot, please make a note of this number, then hang up.
PICKING UP A PARKED CALL:
To pick the call up from any extension, lift the handset
Press PARK RETRIEVE.
Enter the 2-digit directory number where the call is parked.
You are now connected to the caller.
HOT DESK:
Press HotDesk. “NO USER LOGGED IN” appears in the display.
Press Login. “ENTER YOUR EXT#” is displayed.
Dial your Extension number and press OK. “Enter your PIN” appears.
Enter your PIN (this will be your vmail passcode) and press OK.
PROGRAMMABLE/SOFT KEYS
PHONEBOOK:
Press PHONEBOOK on your display. Enter the last name of the desired party and press “Lookup.” You now have the option to call the desired party.
VOICEMAIL:
Press the MESSAGE key to access voicemail from your desk. Enter your password.
SETTING UP YOUR MAILBOX FOR THE FIRST TIME
LOGIN PROCEDURE:
From Your Desk:
Press the MESSAGE key
You will hear your mailbox number
Enter temporary passcode: 1111
From Outside of the Office:
Call the main number (or your DID)
Once you hear the main greeting press *
Enter your mailbox number followed by *
Enter temporary passcode: 1111

First - Create a Passcode
Press 8 to enter User Options
Press 7 to Enter your Passcode
Enter a new pass code for your mailbox (4-10 digits)
You will hear your new passcode
Second - Record a Greeting
Press 8 to enter User Options
Press 4 to Record a Greeting
Record the Greeting and the press #
Press 7 to Review Your Recording
Press 9 to Save or Press 3 to Discard and Record again
Third - Record your Name
Press 8 to enter User Options
Press 6 to Record a Name
Record the Greeting and the press #
Press 7 to Review Your Recording
Press 9 to Save or Press 3 to Discard and Record again
