Where is the Parking Management Office located?

Entering Level P1 –Right side on the Cinder Block Wall, just past the middle of the garage.

X/Y Core – As you get off elevators, walk through lobby, make a left and walk approximately 200 feet.

V/W – As you exit elevators, walk through lobby, make a right and proceed approximately 500 feet.

Free Hybrid, E85 and Electric Vehicle Parking:

Only three (3) reserved parking stalls located on Level P1, for up to 8 hours

Available on first-come, first-serve basis

Handicapped Accessible Parking:

Available on all three levels, on a first-come, first-serve basis

Payment is required at the automated pay-station

Valid state issued handicapped placard or license plate is required

Does the parking receipt have to be kept in the vehicle?

(Proof of purchase allows the parking attendant to easily identify the customer as paid.)

Monthly Parking – Yes, the customer is required to have the monthly placard displayed face up, on the dashboard of the vehicle, for the duration of the stay.

Hourly Parking – If an hourly parking customer does not have the parking receipt visible, we are able to identify the customer as paid through an audit report.

Should a customer pay for parking before or after an event?

Payment is requiredin advanceat all times. Violators are subject to receive an irrevocable City of Denver citation and towing at the expense of the owner.

Can a customer add time to a receipt after purchase?

The parking facility is currently designed for event parking. We are not set up to add time to an existing purchase. Parking rates are strictly enforced. The customer must purchase the time frame that will completely cover the hours of attendance or a new purchase will be required. The customer may receive an irrevocable City of Denver citation.

Does the customer have in and out privileges?

No, there are no in and out privileges. Parking is purchased for a specific stall number, of which is not guaranteed to be available upon the return of the customer. A parking receipt cannot be used for more than one stall number.

What ifparking has been purchased in error, due to an event not being hosted at the Convention Center or if an event is on a different date?

The customer has a thirty (30) minute window to return the parking receipt to Parking Management. Please send the customer to the Parking Management Office to complete a parking refund request form.

Can a customer pay with a check for hourly parking?

Yes, please send the customer to the Parking Management Office to set up a parking agreement. A paper parking permit will be issued and is required to be displayed and made visible, face up on the dashboard of the vehicle, for the duration of the visit.

What should the customer do if the pay-station appears to be out of order?

Please have the customer purchase parking at a different pay station. A machine that does not function properly does not signify free parking.

Can a customer purchase a multiple day parking pass?

Yes, please send the customer to the Parking Management Office to set up a parking agreement. Cash or check is accepted. A paper parking permit will be issued and is required to be displayed and made visible, face up on the dashboard of the vehicle, for the duration of the visit. The cost is standard rate.

What is the protocol when the parking garage is full?

Parking Management will inform Event Management, Security, Traffic Management and DPAC, to verify available space occupancy and receive authorization to direct vehicles to the DPAC garage. The Manager on Duty is also informed, on the weekend.

What is the procedure for a parking refund?

Please send the customer to the Parking Management Office. The customer must complete and submit a parking refund request form, along with the original parking receipt. All refunds are issued by check, whether the initial purchase was paid by cash or credit. The refund process takes ten (10) to fourteen (14) business days and will be sent via US Mail.

What if a customer paid for the wrong stall number?

Please contact the Parking Department via radio to inform them of the error. The parking receipt will need to be displayed and made visible, face up on the dashboard of the vehicle, for the duration of the visit.

What if a parking receipt does not dispense after a purchase?

If a customer needs a parking receipt for financial purposes, please contact the Parking Department via radio. If the customer does not need the parking receipt, the purchase can be verified per the audit report.

Is the receipt required to exit the parking garage?

No, the parking receipt is not required to exit the parking garage.
