Where are they and what are they doing?

How do yo teach a child to do something? By example

I sure am glad we bring our kids to church, i sure wish so n so were hear to hear this message they sure need to get their kids in church like ours.

Children will do what you let them do and then some!

Matthew 10:37 "Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.

Proverbs 29:15 The rod and rebuke give wisdom, But a child left to himself brings shame to his mother.

Proverbs 29:17 Correct your son, and he will give you rest; Yes, he will give delight to your soul.

Proverbs 22:15 Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; The rod of correction will drive it far from him.

Proverbs 23:13 Do not withhold correction from a child, For if you beat him with a rod, he will not die.

14 You shall beat him with a rod, And deliver his soul from hell.

Proverbs 13:24 He who spares his rod hates his son, But he who loves him disciplines him promptly.

Deuteronomy 32:16-20 And he said, 'I will hide my face from them; I will see what their end will be, for they are a perverse generation, children in whom is no faithfulness.

1 Corinthians 11:3 But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.

-Children should fit into and make up the family structure, not control it.

-Children are not the center of the family.

1 Timothy 3:4 one who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence

5 (for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?);

Dr. James Dobson is quoted as saying, “Sometimes we are so concerned about giving our children what we never had growing up, that we neglect to give them what we did have growing up.”

-Learn to say no to your children; example: no to lyrics, no to clothing, no to the people, no to the places.

Proverbs 3:11 My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD, Nor detest His correction;

12 For whom the LORD loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in whom he delights.

Hebrews 12:5 And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: "My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD, Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him;

6 For whom the LORD loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives."

7 If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten?

8 But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons.

Chasten = pī-dyü'-ō = (pie do oh) = to cause one to learn, one who is in charge of molding morals and virtue in another

9 Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?

10 For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that wemay be partakers of His holiness.

11 Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

12 Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees,

13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.

-This passage of scripture in context is saying the Heavenly Father will correct us thru the spirit. And we should teach our children in the natural And if we do not we produce children that are lame and dislocated from the things of God.
