Welcome to the 2017-2018 Whatcom County Arts and Culture Guide Application!Allied Arts is inviting studios, galleries, performing arts centers, theatres, venues, shops and any arts or culture related businesses to apply and be featured in our annual guide.
All entries and fees must be received no later than 5:00Friday February 10th, 2017.
Distribution date will be mid-May 2017.
BASIC LISTING:
Each standard listing will include a thumbnail image, your 100-character text description, and contactand location information in the guides featured map.
Price: $100(+$75 AAWC* Membership)includes location listed by discipline, a 100-character descriptive text listing and thumbnail image.
*ALLIED ARTS MEMBERSHIP:
Applicants are required to have a Business Membership or higher with Allied Arts of Whatcom County in order to participate in the Arts and Culture Guide. If you do not currently have a membership, please include it with this application or sign up at

For those interested in extra exposure, we offer a number of advertising panels. Ad spaces include a complimentary listing as described above:

Terms of Participation
Initial:______/ 1. Applicants agree to meet basic standards of safety and cleanliness in their spaces. If applicants have a studio, it must be an attractive space with a sufficient quantity of gallery-ready art work.Initial:______/ 2. Artists must be residents of WhatcomCounty and members of AAWC with a registered business EIN #.
Deadline for listing registration and fees are February 10th, 2017.
Initial:______/ 3. Sales. Proceeds of all artwork sales are the property of the artist, business, or venue. Allied Arts does not collect commissions. However, we would appreciate knowing about your successes related to this program.
Initial:______/ 4. Liability is the responsibility of the owner, manger or artist. It is recommended that you obtain at least liability insurance on your insurance policy for duration of your listing in the Arts and Culture Guide.

For all applicants: your address should be visible from the street, it should be clean and easy to navigate through for those with special needs or children, and your artwork should be displayed clearly.
