PROGRAM INFORMATION
WHAT:Summer Sizzle is an action packed summer middle school
program. Each week willfeature trips and activities which
focus on selected weekly topics such as; Arts & Crafts, Sports,
Cooking, S.T.E.M. Activities, Environmental Tours & Activities,
Bowling, Skating, Swimming, Movies and many more...
WHO: Youth must be a rising 6th, 7th, or 8th grader and must be able
to participate in outdoor activities, field trips and function in a
group setting.
WHEN:Monday - Friday, beginning the week of JUNE 19thto
JULY 21st,2017 (Sign up is on a weekly basis.)
TIME:7:45 A.M. - 5:45 P.M.
COST: $100.00 per week for the full day program. No pro-rated fees
accepted. A one-time $50.00 deposit is required for sign-up
regardless of the number of weeks selected. The deposit will go
toward the payment of the participants 1st week of participation.
If for some reason the participant does not attend the weeks
registered, the $50.00 deposit is non-refundable.
WHAT IS INCLUDED:
Supplies, supervision, entrance/activity fees, accident insurance,
transportation for field trips, and a camp t-shirt.
WHAT IS NOT PROVIDED:
Lunch, transportation to and from site, extra snacks,
souvenirs purchased on field trips.
TYPICAL SCHEDULE:
Mon.-Thurs. mornings - RECREATIONAL FIELD TRIPS
Mon.-Thurs. afternoons – ENRICHMENT ACTIVITY
Site will participate in an all day field trip every Friday!

through Friday from 7:45 AM until 5:45 PM.

ENRICHMENT CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
SPORTS:Youth will have fun playing basketball, indoor kickball, 4-square, indoor soccer, team relays and participate in organized teambuilding games.
COOKING:Youth will have fun learning about food safety, visiting local grocery stores, restaurantspreparing simple, healthy meals.
ARTS & CRAFTS:Youth will enjoy making simple, unique, and fun hands-on projects that can be used as gifts, memoirs or just for that special place in your home.
S.T.E.M ACTIVITIES: (Science, Technology,Engineering, & Math)Youth will learn the affects of science, technology, engineering & math on our environment, people, and worldby participating in fun activities, tours, and games.
ENVIRONMENTAL TOURS & ACTIVITIES:Youth will enjoy learning about our environment by exploring nature, visiting parks, touring local farms, and participating in various environmental games & activities.
