What is it, and why do I need it?
The Preset Editor is a Microsoft Excel-based spreadsheet that enables you to read and write Preset Memories to and from a Klark Teknik DN9848. The spreadsheet has a maximum of 99 Preset Memories, each represented by a single sheet. The first 23 sheets contain the Klark Teknik factory default presets. It is possible to validate the data on a sheet before loading it into the unit, or even if no unit is present. Presets may be read or written either singly or on a whole unit basis.

KTG Program Manager
What is it, and why do I need it?
The KTGPM (Klark Teknik Group Program Manager) is a utility program which runs under Microsoft Windows. Once installed on your computer, the KTGPM allows you to load new host software into Klark Teknik Group products. Host software is the control program embedded in a particular piece of equipment, and if a new version becomes available for a product, it will be posted on the KTG website. Once the host software has been downloaded from the site, the KTGPM controls the process of downloading the host code into the unit. The KTGPM only needs to be downloaded to your computer once and can then be used to download host code to any of the units for which updates are available.

What is it, and why do I need it?
The host code is the control program embedded in the DN9848 unit. Version 1.03 provides some significant operational advantages over V1.02 and earlier versions, and also fixes a number of bugs. Highlights include:
1. Input and output naming
2. Output gain controls now operate as trims
3. Revised global mute/unmute operation
4. Improved menu layout for easier system setup
5. Improved menu design on input compressors
Important note: Because of the new features added in V1.03, factory presets and system or user memories now contain additional items not supported by earlier units. To allow the unit to be upgraded whilst preserving the factory preset and memory data, a utility program is supplied as part of the V1.03 download. This must be run before upgrading the unit (to copy the old preset data to your computer) and then again after the host code is upgraded (to copy the presets back to the unit in the new format). Failure to do this will result in the loss of all preset information

What is it, and why do I need it?
Stardraw Audio is a sophisticated computer-aided design (CAD) package that allows the user to design just about anything connected with audio - racks, panels, schematics, wiring layouts - in fact anything from a single component to a complete mobile or installed audio system. With over 12,000 audio symbols in its product library, it is the most flexible and intuitive CAD system available for audio professionals.
For some time now, Stardraw Audio has been the platform from which control applications for Klark Teknik Group products are launched. The reason for this is that the established graphical front-end provided by Stardraw allows for integrated control of multiple Klark Teknik Group products, each from a visually flexible and intuitive interface. This is achieved whilst still having one single program (Stardraw Audio) in overall control, allowing the achievement of total show control as more products become available with Stardraw interfaces.
Previously, the advantages of this integrated control environment have only been available by purchasing a full version of Stardraw Audio. Now, owners of Klark Teknik Group products can download and use a free version, "Stardraw Audio for Klark Teknik Group". This allows full control of multiple KTG products, including file save/recall and printing functions. Units currently supported are the DN8000 and the DN9848 loudspeaker processors.
Packaged with this new version is an updated version of the DN9848 controller. This includes significant feature additions and some bug fixes. Highlights include:
1. Improved navigation features allow fast movement between channels
2. Enhanced global mute/unmute features
3. Improved page layouts to reduce the need to swap pages
4. Synchronisation dialogue when going on-line
5. Improved metering accuracy
