Mary and Martha

Mary and Martha were sisters. Once, when Jesus came to their house, Martha was busy serving. Mary was busy sitting at Jesus’s feet and listening. When Martha complained saying that her sister should help her, Jesus said, “… one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.” When their brother Lazarus was sick, they sent for Jesus, but Lazarus died before Jesus came. Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead because of their belief.

Paul (Saul)

Saul persecuted the people who followed Jesus. Jesus came to him in a vision and asked him to stop persecuting Him. He repented and was baptized and became a missionary for the rest of his life. He was able to work many miracles,like healing the sick and casting out evil spirits.
