Who We Are

We are a family run farm owned and run by Trever and Monica Sherman. Our 47 acre production farm neighbors the family organic dairy farm. As third generation farmers, farming is in the blood. Our fruits and vegetables are all organically grown and certified. We are committed to providing quality, nutrient-rich foods throughout the growing season while implementing sustainable farming practices.

What is a CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture is a unique venture that strives to connect farms, food and people in a mutually supportive community. CSA members pledge in advance to support a local grower for the full season, and in return, affiliates receive shares of produce.

What are some benefits of being a csa member?

  1. Great food! Our produce is fresh, delicious, and healthful. Our pesticide-free and nutrient rich soil allows us to produce flavorful fruits and vegetables.
  2. You know exactly where your food comes from, who grows it, and how it’s grown. We encourage people to inquire about our practices and to share their knowledge. We want you to feel confident and comfortable about your food.
  3. Supports sustainable agriculture and our local economy. Organic farming and buying local helps lower negative impact on our environment.
  4. Save money. By buying direct, members avoid paying retail prices and hidden costs of transportation and overhead.
  5. Opportunity. Enjoy all that our beautiful farm offers. Connect with the land by helping us plan, plant and pick or by simply visiting. CSAs encourage community and meeting new people.
  6. Meal planning is made easier. Check out our recipe of the week and free recipe service!

How do i receive my produce?

1.Pickup at the farm. Your food will be ready for you at the farm store each Thursday.

2.Pick up at the Ithaca Farmers’ Market Your food will be available for you each Tuesday or Sunday at our Ithaca Organics booth.

What makes us stand out from other csa’S?

  1. We include fruits in our shares unlike most farms which typically charge extra.
  2. We offer a wide variety of top quality produce that can’t be beat!
  3. We are certified organic by NOFA-NY Certified Organic, LLC.
  4. All members benefit from our menu planning service, Local Thyme. Local Thyme serves up tasty recipes for the omnivores, vegetarians and gluten-free eaters in your house–all based on your week’s worth of seasonal produce.
